General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 21, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get grilled. She spent the night at Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) place after the wedding blowup, and Jax later accompanied her back to Wyndemere. Nina was still a mixture of devastated and furious at the time, so Jax will be pleased to see that she’s calm and back at work.
Jax will also wonder how everything played out with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). He should hear about Nina’s decision to believe Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) claims, which Valentin backed up. Jax may ask why Nina was so quick to buy the word of two liars. Nina might suggest that she’s going off her instincts or something along those lines. The truth is Nina may not believe them at all.
Is Nina pretending to fall for Valentin’s deception? Will she ultimately team up with Jax for Valentin’s ruin? Those seem like good options considering Nina seeming fell hook, line and sinker. Nina has been burned repeatedly and tends to shut Valentin out for months when she has doubts. It’s hard to believe Nina would just jump right back in unless she was setting Valentin up for heartache.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will worry about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). GH fans know Brad just received a bouquet, but there was no card included. The florist won’t be helpful either since the person paid in cash. Brad will guess Nelle was thanking him for his support at the parole hearing, so he’ll fret about her next move.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) will accuse Brad of cheating on Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) – although he may not truly be serious. Deep down, Julian knows there’s been no time for an affair. Between taking care of “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) and putting out fires related to baby swap, Brad doesn’t have a minute to spare.
After Brad explains his Nelle suspicions, Julian may be concerned as well. They’ve come too far to let Nelle blow this for them, so they’ll have to make sure they handle her. Over with Sasha and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll acknowledge the Sasha conned Nina. Carly will point out that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has dated liars before and it always ended in disaster. She may ask what makes Sasha so special.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will apologize and perhaps discuss her motives. She’ll assure Carly that she cares about Michael, and he’ll jump in here, too. Michael will defend Sasha as a good person who made a mistake, so Carly may surrender. She may sense that Michael’s right, but she’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Sasha. One more sneaky move is all it’ll take to provoke Carly’s fury.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) will bond. They’ll talk about how good Hayden is with Liz’s boys, so Liz will contend that Hayden would make a wonderful mom. Little does Liz know Hayden’s already a mother. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) suspects that’s the case, so he’ll seek out Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for a bit more info.
Finn will wonder what Hayden was doing while she was off the grid. He’ll ask how much Curtis knows, but the answer’s probably not much. Curtis wouldn’t leave Finn in the dark on his child. If Curtis had learned Hayden never miscarried, he would’ve told Finn long ago. Curtis will, however, keep a few secrets related to the codicil hunt. He can’t be too careful since this circle’s too big already!
At GH, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will face nervous breakdown fears. She’ll explode after Lucas and Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) suggest that’s what’s going on. Ava collapsed over Ryan’s latest murder, which was caused by her indirectly. All of this is taking a toll on Ava, which is completely understandable. Ava won’t want them acting like she’s crazy for being worked up.
Finally, Felicia Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will pay Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) a visit. She’ll mention Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) new lead, which could mean even more time away from home. After bringing Robert up to speed on Finn’s phone call to Anna, Felicia will be uneasy. She’ll think Anna’s actions are putting a serious strain on her engagement to Finn.
