General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about a popular GH star. Nancy Lee Grahn, who portrays Alexis Davis on the ABC soap, has shared with her followers on social media that her mother, Barbara Grahn, has passed away at the age of 90
Nancy made the announcement on Twitter about her mother’s passing. She tweeted the following: “’They tell me I get a golden rocket ticket. I’m ready, but I can’t take you with me.’ – my mom. And off she went. I won the jackpot of moms. I can assure you, she is not resting in peace but thriving in utter well-deserved bliss. I am thrilled & beyond grateful for her.”
Nancy is active on social media, and she has shared many updates about her mom, who has been in hospice care, over the past several months. Back on July 13, 2019, she shared a message on Twitter about how Barbara was struggling in hospice care.
At the time, Nancy tweeted: “Mom for the last 3 weeks is negotiating her fight to the next station. Watching her struggle this morning & mom caught my inner thoughts wishing for her to be free of it. She opened her eyes, looked at me & said “Easy 4 u to say, you wouldn’t want to go either.” #hospicehumor
Nancy’s followers and co-stars from General Hospital have been tweeting their condolence messages steadily since Nancy made the sad announcement. Risa Dorken (Amy Driscoll, GH) commented: “So sorry Nancy. Sending my love to the whole family.” And Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos, GH) said: “Big hugs and love @NancyLeeGrahn and bless your mom on her next journey.”
Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine, GH) responded as well, with: “Indeed. She was a good one. Sending love your way Nancy.” And Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks, GH) said: “I bet she was amazing. Sending lots of love your and Kate’s way.”
Our deepest condolences go out to Nancy, her daughter Kate, and the rest of her family at this time. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
