General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will impatiently await the two things she wants most. GH fans know Nelle’s determined to get out of Pentonville. It’s clear that Nelle would also like to get “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) back, but that’s the truly tricky part!
Nelle’s freedom will indeed be granted, so part one of her plan will be complete. General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will be released from prison in 2020. She’ll get out legally, which obviously isn’t going to go over well with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and especially Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
The Corinthos clan will be horrified to learn that a manipulative and dangerous murderer like Nelle is back on the streets. Carly will be particularly riled up, but attacking Nelle could lead to big trouble. She could easily make herself Nelle’s next deadly target.
As for Nelle’s plot to be reunited with her son, that’s bound to be a pretty tall order. Even if Nelle cooks up some bogus story about how Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) duped her and stole her son, “Wiley” would still have to be shared with Michael. That’s probably not going to work for Nelle since the whole point of the switch was to keep Michael and his family away from her baby.
Nelle could try to set up some situation where she looks like the victim, which is totally her MO. There could be some kind of ploy to make sure Nelle looks like the better parent – at least in her own mind! Good luck getting a judge to buy that, but anything can happen with a shark like Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) backing Nelle up.
Then again, Nelle may think it’s best to keep Michael in the dark completely and go after “Wiley” another way. She could decide to lull everyone into a false sense of security before she snatches the kid and bolts. Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Carly will be the most important part of what comes next. The show seems to be setting up some sort of final faceoff between Nelle and Carly – enemies to the bitter end!
That leads us to wonder how much gas is left in the tank when it comes to Nelle. She’s a fantastic character who’s capable of anything, so it’s wise to keep characters like that alive for future stints. At the same time, GH might feel like they’ve done all they can do with Nelle. There’s no guarantee Nelle will escape with her life at the end of all this.
Will Nelle try to kill Carly and end up dead herself? Could Carly be forced to kill Nelle in self-defense – or at least have to try? Nelle’s proven she’s willing to resort to murder – and she would have a strong motive since she loathes Carly, who could stand in the way of a reunion with “Wiley.” Carly isn’t going to face a fatal outcome, but Nelle isn’t as safe as a recurring off-her-rocker character.
Will Nelle and Carly fight to the death? Even if Nelle doesn’t die, this could turn out to be a bloody battle! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
