General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a new man will land in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) orbit. Joe Flanigan has been cast as Alexis’ hunky new therapist, Neil. His first episode will air on February 8, so GH fans will want to tune in and catch their first glimpse of him.
Of course, Alexis is always pulled into complicated romances. She’s never found a simple one before and she’s not going to start now! Neil won’t be Alexis’ therapist right off the bat. It looks like they’ll bump into each other and establish a nice rapport before he offers his services.
Neil may end up taking back that offer later. He might decide he’d rather support Alexis as a boyfriend instead! A recent Soap Opera Digest blind item revealed that a soap vet would be getting a new love interest. It looks like Nancy Lee Grahn may be the answer to that blind item. General Hospital spoilers say it could take some time, but Neil will ultimately capture Alexis’ heart.
During an explosive seminar at the Dawn of Day house, Alexis blurted out a painful confession. It pointed to some real loneliness and caught Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) off guard. Alexis admitted that she missed being in love. She wants to feel like she felt when she was with Julian Jerome (William deVry) again.
Will Neil be the solution to Alexis’ problem? It’s possible that Alexis will find the spark she’s craving and officially put Julian in the rearview mirror. However, it seems more likely that Alexis will simply convince herself that’s what she’s doing.
No matter how hard Alexis tries, she can never seem to shake her love for Julian. Alexis can try to recreate the magic chemistry, but her attempt may be destined to fail. Julian and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) are back together, but for how long? What happens if Julian ends up single and lonely again? Alexis may not be able to stay away, even with a handsome doc like Neil to keep her busy.
General Hospital could deliver a solid love triangle for Alexis. Regardless, it’s nice that Grahn will get more airtime and a story centered around her. Many GH viewers will be happy about that!
