General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some wild moments are coming up in Port Charles. There’s been plenty of buzz about Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stabile) over the last few months. Ava Jerome (Maura West) tried to contact Nikolas through her psychic, Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright). However, Sibley couldn’t feel Nikolas’ presence on the other side – a clear sign that he was still in the land of the living.
Chelsea Lambas (Jen Ray) also told Laura Webber (Genie Francis) that her son was in danger. She ultimately admitted it wasn’t the one in Africa, which confirmed it was Nikolas and not Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). GH has been laying the groundwork for this Nikolas return with other mentions as well as this search for the codicil of Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will.
So how will this Nikolas comeback play out? Most viewers are wondering what’s in store, so we’ve got a preview of all the action. Although General Hospital hasn’t officially confirmed Nikolas’ return, it’s obvious it’s happening based on onscreen clues, current spoilers as well as buzz that’s floating around.
As of right now, word has it a recast will step in the role. Many GH fans were hoping for Tyler Christopher’s comeback, but that would’ve been a huge deal they’d probably want to promote. The show shouted about Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) return from the rooftops, so you’d think they would’ve used a similar strategy if Christopher were back. The silence could be significant here.
However, any Nikolas Cassadine is perhaps better than no Nikolas at all. He’s a great character, and they can get some major drama out of his return. That brings us to some new November sweeps info, which certainly seems to be related to Nikolas. General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be a massive revelation that’s connected to the codicil hunt. It’ll send shockwaves through town and affect several characters.
That brings us to the main players here: Laura, Ava Jerome (Maura West), Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Nikolas’ return from the “dead” will shake things up in Port Charles and change lives forever. This whole group will be thrown into chaos.
Thanks to Dev “Corbin” aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), Ava now has Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait at the gallery. There’s been talk about the artist’s penchant for puzzles, and Laura suggested there might be another image underneath Helena’s painting. All this lines up with Ava’s looming bombshell at the gallery, where she’ll be confronted by a masked man on Halloween night.
Ava knows someone’s been watching her, and that someone will follow her to the gallery. It makes perfect sense for Nikolas to approach Ava, reveal who he is and explain the whole story. Nikolas may bring Ava up to speed on the codicil search and how she may hold the key now that she’s got Helena’s portrait.
