General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we could finally see some movement in the fake daughter storyline. GH fans are certainly ready to see the explosive fallout of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) stunning scheme. We understand that Valentin wanted to grant Nina Reeves’ (Michelle Stafford) wish of having a child of her own. However, this was clearly not the best plan.
It wouldn’t be so bad if Valentin truly had no ulterior motives. The truth is Valentin used this to manipulate Nina. He was so desperate to get Nina back that he cooked up a lie about the one thing that mattered most to her. That’s why this blow is going to hurt Nina in the worst way possible. The rug’s about to be pulled out from under her, and it’ll sink her into a pit of anger and despair.
Many General Hospital fans were growing fearful about the big reveal. Michelle Stafford has apparently already filmed her final scenes as Nina, so there are only so many episodes left for her. Stafford will be rejoining the cast of The Young and the Restless while Cynthia Watros takes over as Nina on GH.
Watros looks like she’ll be a great fit, but Stafford at least needed to play the Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) fallout. Thankfully, it looks like Stafford will indeed get the chance. General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Sasha will have a special mother-daughter lunch on May 29. That just might set up the shocker we’ve all been waiting for.
At first, that lunch info seemed disheartening. We’ve seen enough bonding for these two, so it looked like it’d just be more of the same. Then, new General Hospital spoilers revealed what would happen on May 30. That’s when a rude awakening will hit for Nina. It suggests the fake daughter illusion will be shattered along with Nina’s heart.
It’s great that we’re getting to the good stuff! Watching major secrets come out is one of the most fun parts of soaps. During the week of May 27-31, Valentin will also congratulate someone. Could he sarcastically congratulate Sasha for blowing this for them? If she’s to blame for the truth coming out, it may be her funeral as far as Valentin’s concerned!
