General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves’ (Michelle Stafford) life is about to explode in a big way. Now that a third DNA test has “proven” Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as a match, Nina is more convinced that ever that Sasha is her daughter. She has no reason to doubt it, so Valentin’s hoping to keep the truth under wraps and keep rebuilding his happy life with Nina.
Of course, there’s still the little matter of Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) leverage. Nina bought the lie Valentin sold to cover it up, but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could present a problem. GH fans know Maxie’s not the kind of gal who lets things go. She’ll remain curious about the situation and what Valentin wants to hide from Nina.
Sasha’s guilt could easily become an issue again as well. That’s especially true now that she’s growing closer to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Sasha warned Michael that she planned to leave town after the wedding, but she’s willing to catch a movie sometime and hang out a bit more. You can bet Sasha will keep falling for Michael, which could put her in a real bind.
Michael might open up about his back luck with dishonest women and all the pain he’s faced. Sasha may wonder if it’s time to come clean and end this nightmare. She might have hope that both Michael and Nina would understand in time. Sasha could at least determine that the guilt is just too much to bear.
Regardless, Nina will ultimately learn the shocking true story. General Hospital has been bringing up the wedding more and more lately. This long-awaited event will likely be when Nina faces total devastation. It’d be exciting if she found out just before and pretended Valentin was going to get his happily ever after. Then, Nina could break his heart at the altar and tell Sasha off right beside him.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s world will crumble just in time for the recast’s debut. Cynthia Watros will start filming in early June, so it won’t be that long until her work hits the screen and she jumps in the mess Valentin’s created. It should be interesting to see a fresh take on Nina, particularly when chaos is about to hit hard. Perhaps Watros’ Nina will get a solid revenge arc.
