General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has one goal and one goal only: protect his relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Although Peter seems torn about some of the wicked things he’s doing, he’s clearly reverted to the dark side. Peter’s doing whatever it takes to keep his relationship with Maxie intact, but his evil actions will undoubtedly be why he loses her in the end.
Nevertheless, Peter will keep convincing himself he can keep his bliss with Maxie. He isn’t interested in throwing away their bright future over his shady past. Peter already had Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) was stabbed and nearly finished him off at GH. Of course, Peter also made sure Drew Cain (Billy Miller) never returned to Port Charles. He was pleased with the results of that plane crash.
Peter’s been doing his best to handle Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) as well, but there’s someone else standing in his way. That someone is Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Some General Hospital fans have expressed confusion about Peter’s concerns. Since Drew’s memories are the problem, why wouldn’t Peter want Franco to return to his old self? You’d think things would just go back to normal, and Peter could resume his usual life with Maxie.
However, the answer may lie in one of the memory procedure outcomes. Andre told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that Franco’s memories could intensify, which obviously wouldn’t help her. Liz wants her husband back, not a worse FrankenDrew version of Franco. It wouldn’t work out for Peter either since Franco might remember something that would help sink him.
This portion of the storyline is pretty flimsy. After all, Franco seemingly remembers incredibly vivid details about his romance with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). He’s Drew in every way except for his body. What’s with all this “intensified” memories business? Since that’s apparently how General Hospital writers are choosing to explain this, we’ll just have to go with it.
Peter must fear that some memory could still rise to the surface that would incriminate him. How far will he go to make sure Franco doesn’t recall it? General Hospital spoilers say there’s no line Peter won’t cross. He could easily try to sabotage Franco’s procedure if killing Andre doesn’t pan out. That could lead to disaster since this procedure’s already risky; Franco might wind up in a vegetative state or even dead. Peter could even try to flat-out murder Franco if the opportunity arises.
General Hospital spoilers say some hot drama’s brewing, so let’s hope Peter gets what he’s got coming! We’ll give you updates as other GH news emerges. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
