General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 26, reveal that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) continued her conversation with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), not realizing that she was Nelle. Nelle spoke about the baby that she lost, then asked to hold Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson). Willow was about to allow it, when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) suddenly appeared and told Willow this was Nelle.
After scooting Willow and Wiley away, Michael and Nelle had words, with Nelle getting a jab in about Jonah Corinthos. Later, Willow was beside herself that she was duped by Nelle, but Michael said that she had no way of knowing. Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) then came along and declared that he was taking Wiley home and that he didn’t need Michael or Willow to care for his little boy any longer.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was upset to have found a connection between Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and the gunman who tried to kill Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) in the OR. Anna talked with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about her findings, and he suggested that Anna go to the police and let them sort it out.
Anna didn’t like that suggestion, and she and Finn went back and forth about what she should do, with Anna saying that he sounded like Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Anna decided that she just needed some time to think about how to best handle the situation. As they were talking, Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) interrupted them, wanting to know whether her mother will be coming home for Christmas.
Anna and Finn reassured Violet that her mother loves her, and Finn distracted her with a gift that he said was to Violet from Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). They realized that they needed to find a way to explain to Violet what was going on, but that it was tough because they have no idea where Hayden is.
Next, Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) spent some time together in the park, and Maxie gave Peter a Christmas stocking – something Peter has never had before. Peter was touched. Soon, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Jake Spencer (Hudson West) came along, and Maxie mentioned Peter’s heroism in saving Franco and Andre.
Later, Maxie told Peter privately that the person who is out there orchestrating all these murder attempts and doing Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) bidding will eventually be caught and will go to prison. Maxie pointed out that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) won’t rest until he finds out who was behind Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) death. This unnerved Peter.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) and Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) also appeared in the park, and Julian learned that Brook Lynn was the person who cared for Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) when Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was keeping him from Julian. Brook Lynn showed Julian some photos of Leo when he was little, which Julian truly appreciated. Brook Lynn noted that she just doesn’t get Julian, who seems like a loving father but was so brutish to her when they first met.
At Turning Woods, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) arrived to find Mike Corbin (Max Gail) about to be taken to the track by Gladys Corbin (Mel Harris). Sonny wondered what on earth was going on, and he soon found out that Mike was terribly upset because his “wife” Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert) was gone, and Gladys was trying to distract him.
Yvonne’s husband Marcus Godfrey (Nigel Gibbs) then walked in the room, and Mike started yelling at him for stealing Yvonne. Sonny eventually got Mike settled down, then learned that Marcus had Yvonne admitted to the hospital to have a feeding tube inserted. Yvonne had stopped eating, and Gladys overheard this, then told Marcus that inserting a feeding tube was a huge mistake.
Well, that led Marcus to tell Gladys to mind her own business, and after Marcus left, Gladys told Sonny all about a friend of hers who died a horrible death from Alzheimer’s after her family had a feeding tube inserted against her wishes. Sonny listened as Gladys went on about how Alzheimer’s robs a person of his dignity, which Sonny seemed to take to heart. Later, Mike blurted out that Sonny should invite Gladys to his home for dinner, which Sonny reluctantly did.
Next, at Franco and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house, Franco was horrified by the news that he slept with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) while he was “Drew.” He couldn’t believe that he could have done such a thing, but Elizabeth offered him support and reassured him that it wasn’t his fault. Soon, Jake and Cameron came home with a Christmas tree and they decorated together as a family, sharing some great times.
Finally, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) walked in the front door of the Quartermaine mansion, which looked very different. Tracy was disoriented for a moment and gradually realized that the place had been redecorated. She called out loudly for Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), but they weren’t anywhere to be found.
Brook Lynn then came down the stairs and greeted her grandmother as “Granny,” which Tracy didn’t appreciate. Tracy asked what happened to the house and Brook Lynn said that the redesign was great.
