General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Thursday, October 17, reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) headed to Pentonville to talk with Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross), who has just implicated Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in Shiloh’s murder. Jason told Bryce that he was looking for the person who hired him to stab Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) and sabotage Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) jet.
Of course, Bryce balked, but Jason let him know that if he flips on his boss, then the feds would probably cut him a deal, especially if his boss was Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Bryce had a noticeable reaction to that, and Jason took that to mean that Peter was indeed Bryce’s boss. Bryce told Jason that if he likes the feds’ terms, then he’ll provide answers.
Unfortunately, when Bryce was taken back to holding, he was put in a cell with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), who was just finishing up a letter to Ava Jerome (Maura West). Bryce immediately commented on Ava’s Crimson cover, which was hanging in the cell, saying that Ava was “hot” and that he’d have to look her up when he got out of jail. That didn’t please Ryan, who looked menacingly at Bryce and gripped his ink pen like a weapon.
Meanwhile, Ava wasn’t having a good day. She started drinking early at The Metro Court when she was spotted by Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura tried to help her by talking, but Ava made a few snide comments and walked out. Laura followed her, bringing her some water to offset her martini, and the two talked. Ava then apologized for her previous comments and Laura sat with her, comforting her. But neither of them noticed a mysterious person watching them from afar.
One wonders if the person watching them will end up being the same masked man who GH spoilers say will follow Ava on Halloween. Right now, it’s unclear whether the person watching Ava and Laura was interested in Ava, Laura, or both of the women. But it’s clear that someone is definitely lurking in the shadows and keeping tabs.
Across town, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) caught up with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) at Charlie’s Pub. Lucas wanted to know where Brad had been all dressed up, and Brad hesitated and noted that he was visiting “a friend,” but Lucas then called him out on being at Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) parole hearing earlier that morning – he had heard about it from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
That led to an argument between the men, with Lucas demanding to know what else Brad was keeping from him…like the real reason he’s seeing a psychiatrist. Brad balked and accused Lucas of not trusting him, and Lucas blasted him for supporting a sociopath who had done such major damage to his family. Ultimately, Lucas pressed and said that he knew there was something else bothering Brad.
Finally, Brad relented and admitted that he was upset over Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson) and that fear of getting parenthood “wrong” was giving him terrible anxiety. Ultimately, the men worked things out and declared themselves a team, but Lucas implored Brad to just talk to him and let him know when things were bothering him. Of course, at this point Brad is in way too deep in the Wiley deception to come clean.
