General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, April 2, tease that the ABC soap’s 56th anniversary will bring many Port Charles residents together. As part of Dr. Gail Baldwin’s (Susan Brown) last wishes, plenty of characters will gather on the 10th floor of GH. That’s where Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will read Gail’s bequest and any other crucial messages Gail passed along before her death.
Before Alexis begins, Dr. Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) will pop back up for a visit. Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will jokingly welcome to Lesley to the 21st century. They’ll end up chatting about the past, so longtime GH fans will see some familiar flashbacks.
Over with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), he’ll tell Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) that “they don’t know what they’re missing.” Some people may decide to skip the event, but it sounds like Mac will be looking forward to it! He never finds getting together for a special occasion.
Next, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will track down Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). General Hospital spoilers say Bobbie will admit she’s been expecting Felicia. After they open up and discuss the past, they’ll hug and look for the future. Meanwhile, Julian Jerome (William deVry) will gripe about having to attend this function. He’ll insist that Alexis is the one running the show and wonder why he has to be there.
Alexis may not have the answer to that until she reads the bequest. All she knows is Gail made a long list of attendees, so Alexis has no intention of letting her down. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will come as ordered, but Liz will also enjoy a private moment with Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy). She’ll get a pep talk like only Epiphany can give!
During a sweet conversation with Laura Webber (Genie Francis), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will express gratitude for General Hospital. They do a lot of great work at GH, so the staff definitely deserves some praise. Laura will also see the strong connection between Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Kevin may fear his presence at the gathering will cause trouble, but Lucy will offer reassurance.
Is Lucy just being a good friend or is she making a romantic play for Kevin? Part of Laura may have to wonder as she spots their exchange. However, Kevin doesn’t seem to view it as anything more than friendly. General Hospital spoilers say he’ll also share a few tender minutes with Laura, so maybe he’ll realize she’s his bail-poster and thank her for her kindness.
Kevin and Laura have major issues to work through, but there’s certainly some love left between them. Will that be enough to help them move past the Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) debacle? With faith and determination, perhaps a proper reunion will happen in time.
Finally, Alexis will make some startling announcements and deliver Gail’s last requests. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be moved by something Gail said before her passing, so stay tuned to see what touches his heart. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
