General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 16, tease that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) will get a shocking update from Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) about her husband Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna). As GH viewers know, Lulu hasn’t been doing well lately with Dante’s absence from her life. When she last saw Dante, he told her not to wait for him, but that’s not what she wants at all. Rather, she wants her husband home, and she wants it now.
So, Lulu’s going to be stunned to hear from Maxie that Dante was not only close to Port Charles this whole time – in Ithaca, New York – but that he totally lost it, wrestled a gun away from a WSB agent, and shot Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Of course, this all transpired after Maxie impulsively burst into the room where Dante was being held, which provoked the shooting.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Lulu won’t be happy with her best friend, and she’s shown in Tuesday’s promo angrily asking Maxie what she was thinking. But most of all she’ll probably want to see Dante, and given what just went down, it’s highly unlikely that the WSB authorities are going to let Dante near anyone. Clearly, there’s a lot more work to be done to deprogram him!
So as it turns out, Maxie’s actions may end up keeping Dante away from Lulu and his family for even longer now. Since he’s proved that he’s indeed a danger to the outside world, he’ll probably be kept under wraps for a lot longer, and the whole situation may even necessitate a location change for Dante. Lulu’s not going to be happy, and it may take some considerable work to get her friendship with Maxie back on track.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of General Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Julian Jerome (William deVry) will have a serious conversation. Kim has been in a bad place, and for good reason. She lost her son Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt), and she’s been feeling like she is lost now that she’s no longer has a child to care for. And that led her to nearly do the unthinkable to Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and force him to have another child with her.
Julian has been pretty understanding with Kim throughout her grief and the way she has been acting out, and it looks like it will be time for a heart-to-heart. It appears that Kim will initiate the discussion, and she’s shown in Tuesday’s GH previews telling Julian that she’s so sorry, which doesn’t sound promising. Could Kim be on the verge of breaking things off with Julian?
A break up at this point would actually make sense for these two. They’ve grown apart throughout Oscar’s illness, while Kim has gravitated more toward Drew. Plus, Kim could feel like she needs to be on her own while she grieves and gets help for the depression and despair she’s feeling over Oscar’s death. She might feel that it’s only fair to Julian to let him go.
On the other hand, Kim might simply be making a heartfelt apology to Julian for her behavior with Drew on The Haunted Star. Then again, it does seem in many ways that Julian and Kim’s relationship may have run its course, so viewers will have to tune in on Tuesday to see what goes down between these two.
