General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 2, tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be baffled by Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) behavior. When Liz suddenly appears, Franco will freak out and insist she should go away. He’ll yell that she can’t be in there, so Liz’s eyes will widen as she tries to make sense of all this.
Of course, there’s an easy explanation for Franco’s unusual blowup. He’ll probably just panic over a surprise he’d rather keep under wraps. Franco wouldn’t be Franco if he didn’t have a little something special planned for the wedding reception. He always tries to show Liz he cares in interesting ways, so we’ll see if he can hide what’s in store.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will receive some guidance. Franco will think Scott may be battling some loneliness, so he’ll suggest reentering the dating game. Since Scott will pop the question to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) by the end of the week, it looks like he’ll take things one step too far.
Meanwhile, Bobbie will worry about managing her type 2 diabetes. As Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) stands nearby, Bobbie will insist she wants to stick around for her family. She’ll refuse to let her condition rob her of precious time with her loved ones.
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll dig for info on her unborn child’s birth defect. Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) were told their baby likely has spina bifida. Unfortunately, this will bring plenty of concerns for Carly and add to her stress level. She’ll forgo sleep so she can research all night and be prepared for what’s ahead.
Naturally, Carly will get a lecture from Sonny. He’ll urge Carly to relax and take care of herself for the baby’s sake as well as her own. Across town, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will need Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to stop him from doing something crazy. Chase will be tempted to help Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) escape from lockup, so Finn should remind him that patience is the way to go.
GH spoilers say Chase will recap the adoption story and how the baby’s evil father wants custody. He’ll feel like he has to do whatever it takes to protect Willow’s child from Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Finn may agree that the situation is dire, but he’ll trust that Chase is smart enough to play by the rules. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) already gave Chase his one and only strike!
Next, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will face some bombshells. For starters, T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will admit he doesn’t plan to resume med school in the fall. The news should perplex Jordan and Stella, but it seems T.J. will have a new vision for his future. He’ll explain his point of view and hope his loved ones can understand his decision.
T.J. will also have updates on a DNA search. Back when Jordan needed a kidney donor, the idea of finding some of her family members came up. Did T.J. run a search that revealed some old relatives? Stella will have family on her mind over the next couple weeks, so maybe she’ll push Jordan to meet up with faces from the past.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will get riled again. She’ll lash out at Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and declare that the interview is off. However, Ava will be in breach of contract if she bails now. Jax will do his part to resolve the issue, but he’ll expect Ava to honor her commitment.
