General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 31, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get grilled. She’ll wonder how her love life became such a hot topic as she tries to brush off Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) questions. Of course, Diane can be awfully persistent. She’ll undoubtedly want to know if any new developments are on the horizon between Alexis and Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan).
Alexis seems to have some complicated feelings for the doc, but she’ll likely insist she’s just Neil’s patient and friend. Still, there’s always the potential for more down the road! In the meantime, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will prepare for their evening at Wyndemere. They’ll discuss their objective, which involves something of great importance.
Unfortunately, Hayden won’t have high hopes about uncovering this crucial piece of evidence. She’ll tell Jax that it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, but he may urge her to have a little faith. Jax seems to be brimming with confidence lately, so he may push Hayden to chill and try to focus. They’ll be eager to take Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) down, but they have to pull off their goal first.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will pass along updates to Valentin and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He’ll suggest it appears Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) has resurfaced, so that should be troubling news for both Valentin and Nina. GH spoilers say they may be even more concerned when the hear about the mystery man that Cassandra was spotted with.
Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), they’ll enjoy their tropical escape. Michael will insist that it’s almost time, which will leave Sasha curious what he has in mind. It looks like Michael’s cooked up some special surprise for the lovely lady in his life, so Sasha should be thrilled.
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will summon Neil for a meeting at the Metro Court. He’ll note that they have a debt to settle, so he’ll want to discuss the matter over dinner. Next, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will battle suspicions. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will show at Aurora, so Curtis will wonder why they’ve come to see Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
Jason fears Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) has another trick up his sleeve, so more brain power couldn’t hurt – especially when Drew and Shiloh have an old connection. Sam and Jason may also want to warn Drew to keep a close eye on Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri). They were uneasy when Shiloh approached Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo), so it’s wise to stay on guard.
However, a new crisis will soon take center stage since Drew’s flash drive was stolen by Shiloh’s minion. Drew will confront Shiloh on Wednesday and make it clear that he intends to get to the bottom of their shared past. He’ll insist all he’s got is time to find out what happened in Afghanistan!
