General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Wednesday, October 16, reveal that Kendra Lennon (Michelle Argyris) made a big revelation to viewers. She met briefly with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at Charlie’s Pub, then headed to the graveyard, where she sat in front of the headstone of Kiefer Bauer (Christian Alexander) and spoke to his spirit. She told him that his death had gone unpunished, but now everything had changed, and it was time to “pay her back.”
She then pulled out a can of nutritional supplement just like she had given to Alexis in the past and poured something in the can. So, clearly Kendra plans to poison Alexis as revenge for the death of her brother, although it seems like a pretty overt and traceable plan. Of course, Kendra could wind up being more unhinged than she first seems, so Alexis could wind up in more immediate danger, especially if Kendra wants to ramp up her revenge efforts down the line.
Next, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) geared up for her parole hearing. The whole thing turned out to be relatively drama-free, even though Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) had a terrible nightmare in which Nelle told Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson) was really their son Jonah. However, the actual hearing went smoothly, and Nelle was confident that she’d walk free by the end of it.
Things didn’t go as Nelle had hoped, though. Although she made a passionate plea to the parole board about how her work with service animals and prison hospice care had changed her, Nelle didn’t get granted parole. This didn’t surprise her lawyer, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) at all, since most prisoners don’t get paroled on their first attempt. But he thought that Nelle would stand a good chance in two years – a time frame that utterly startled Nelle.
Of course, if Nelle were to ever start fancying an escape, now would probably be the time. The prospect of waiting two years for another parole hearing is unacceptable to her, as she really wants to reunite with her son. She will have to change tracks now, from banking on a parole to plotting an escape, and we can only imagine that she’ll turn to her friend Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to do so.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) enjoyed breakfast with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at Kelly’s, alongside Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael, who were at another table nearby. The whole situation was a bit awkward, but got really scary for Sasha when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) marched into the restaurant and arrested Sasha for fraud, identity theft, and burglary. Turns out, Nina decided to turn Sasha in for impersonating her daughter, and Chase had no choice but to make the arrest.
Sasha was hauled to the PCPD and Michael got Alexis to take her case. Alexis requested some time alone with Sasha and tried to get her to admit that Valentin was also involved in the scheme – something that Michael also thought Sasha should fess up about. After all, if Sasha were to give up Valentin, then the DA would probably let Sasha go in return for her testimony. Alexis seemed to agree, but she decided to try to get Nina to drop the charges first.
Of course, Nina flatly refused to drop the charges, and she ended up telling both Alexis and Sasha to go to hell. That left Sasha in the position of really needing to implicate Valentin and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in order to save her own skin. Meanwhile, Michael cornered Valentin for a tense chat, and told him that if Sasha went to prison then he’d go down with her, and that he needed to get Nina to back off and drop the charges.
