General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of August 12-16 tease that the drama will rev up in Port Charles. First, let’s talk about Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She’ll struggle with some romantic developments since she has feelings for Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) but remains hung up on Julian Jerome (William deVry).
Alexis is open to seeing where things could lead with Neil, but he’s dragging his feet. However, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) may be able to offer some solid advice. As for Julian, he’ll inform Alexis that he’s leaving Port Charles with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and throw her for a loop. Alexis won’t want Julian to go, but she’ll wish him well anyway.
Of course, Julian’s plans aren’t set in stone. General Hospital spoilers say a tender conversation’s on the way between Julian and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). They’re finally starting to bond, so Lucas may hate to see Julian bail. That’s especially true since Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has cleared a path for Grandpa Julian to be part of “Wiley Cooper-Jones’” life.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will push Julian to change his mind soon after, so we’ll see if that plan pays off. Kim may also have to reevaluate soon. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will have Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller memories thanks to Dr. Arthur Cabot’s (Time Winters) procedure. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will fear that Franco isn’t going to wake up, but he will. He just won’t be quite himself!
General Hospital spoilers say Franco will remember Drew’s life instead of his own, so he’ll be able to give Kim some long-awaited answers. Drew never truly expressed how he felt about her, but Franco will provide a second chance. There’s the potential for a love story if the show decides to go there.
At GH, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will continue to suffer. She’s got a mysterious strain of influenza, so Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will want to be there for her every step of the way. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will care for Sasha as well while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) works on a cure.
Finn will end up bickering with Valentin at one point, so this may be about some risky testing. Valentin won’t want anything DNA-related that could connect the dots for Nina – or disconnect them in this case! He’ll be desperate to keep the daughter lie going and make sure nothing changes about Nina’s bond with Sasha, which should be even stronger after this crisis.
Over with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), she’ll be impossible to ignore. Does that mean Hayden will make a scene or perhaps go glam to catch Finn’s eye? Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Hayden will make someone take notice, and it could be her ex. Finn will summon Hayden for a meeting later, so she’ll decide to see what he wants.
Finally, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will show Willow a new side of himself. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Time will tell, but Willow’s definitely going to be taken aback!
