General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 16-20 tease that drama is about to erupt. For starters, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be on pins and needles. She’ll be eager to find out how much Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) remembers – if he’s even Franco at all! The good news is it looks like Franco will be Franco again. The bad news is Franco will face some heartbreaking revelations.
GH fans can expect total devastation for Franco, so the news about the real Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) plane crash should be part of that. Drew’s presumed death should hit Franco hard. Of course, Franco should also be upset to learn he picked up Drew’s old romance with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). Whenever Franco inevitably learns he slept with Kim, he’ll feel horrible about the pain Liz has endured.
On the bright side, Franco will be reunited with Liz and the boys for Christmas. That’s a granted holiday wish worth celebrating! In the meantime, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will carry out a devious plan. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will back Ava up as she sets up an auction of Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) should take the bait quickly, which will be exactly what Nina and Ava have in mind. At some point, Ava will prepare for an ambush. Will Nik make another attempt to steal the painting? Will Ava be waiting for him and call him out on his lies? Time will tell, but Ava definitely has a few tricks up her sleeve.
As for Nina, she’ll end up backing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) into a corner and clashing with her a bit next week. Over with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll be irritated by Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) big announcement. This undoubtedly has something to do with Lucy’s incessant push regarding the Face of Deception.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be on cloud nine. She’ll be thrilled over how her life’s coming together with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but he’ll remain on edge. Maxie will wind up trying to help Peter, but she could do more harm than good – at least from his perspective!
Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will remain troubled. She can tell Peter’s keeping secrets, so she’ll keep an eye on him and let her suspicions grow. Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will be merciless and Julian Jerome (William deVry) will fly into a rage soon after. Will this involve the car tampering or something else? Either way, Julian can’t escape the trouble that’s brewing.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will try to keep her cool. She’ll turn on the usual fake charm and hope it seals the deal on her freedom. Will Nelle indeed score her release from Pentonville? We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
