General Hospital Spoilers: Week of October 28 Preview – Ava Unmasks Stalker At Gunpoint – Violence Follows Franco Case Decision

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’re in for a big Halloween week full of revealed secrets, some major confrontation, and big celebrations. The new GH promo for the week of October 28 promises a lot, so let get right into it! First off, there will be some big drama resulting from Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) competency hearing. As GH viewers know, there were a couple of big bombshells at the hearing, one of which was the fact that Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) drugged and tried to have sex with Drew Cain (Billy Miller) earlier this year.

Kim was forced to admit what she had done on the stand during the hearing, which hurt Franco’s case and caused her serious embarrassment. In the new GH promo, Kim is shown hauling off and slapping Julian Jerome (William deVry) at Charlie’s Pub, which is almost certainly over the fact that he’s the one who told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) about the episode. General Hospital spoilers say that Kim will put two and two together and realize that Julian must have spilled the beans. At any rate, these two seem to be done for good.

Of course, another big bombshell during the hearing was Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) surprise testimony that Franco/Drew was mentally competent to make his own treatment decisions. Scott didn’t anticipate that coming from his own witness, and in the GH promo, he’s shown punching Kevin in outrage over the whole thing. The way Scott will see it, Kevin may have just cost him the chance to get Franco back, and he’ll be peeved.

Later in the week, Halloween festivities will get underway. Various Port Charles residents are shown in grand costumes and having a good time. There’s Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) as Mary Poppins and Burt, and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in Toy Story costumes.

Then there’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is in Marc Antony gear, while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is dressed as Cleopatra. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are also shown dressed as 1950s greasers and having a good time together.

Then there’s Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’s dressed as Cruella de Vil for the festivities. Ava will take center stage in the Halloween drama, since GH spoilers indicate that she’ll have a masked stranger stalking her during the Halloween party. This person, who is wearing a full-face mask and a big cape, is also shown in the GH weekly preview coming face-to-face with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), who’s decked out as the Queen of Hearts. It doesn’t look like the person will reveal his identity to Laura, however.

Speaking of that masked man, there are some scary scenes in the promo of a woman taking a shower and a man’s footsteps approaching, and one can only assume that this is Ava in the shower with her stalker approaching. At any rate, the promo suggests that the man will be following and watching Ava for some time prior to the Halloween party.

There’s also a flash of a scene from Ava’s gallery, with a man hovering over a laptop, which makes sense given GH spoilers saying that the masked stranger will follow Ava back to her gallery after the Halloween party. In fact, at the end of the promo, the masked stranger is shown standing in front of Ava in her gallery while Ava holds him at gunpoint and tells him to take the mask off.

As CDL has been reporting, there’s a good chance that this masked stranger is Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stabile), especially since he’s shown in the promo interacting with both Ava and Laura. It looks like by week’s end we’ll know exactly who’s been watching Ava, and assuming it’s Nikolas, he’s going to have a lot of explaining to do!

It looks like we’re in for an exciting week, so stay tuned! We’ll give you updates as GH news comes in. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
