Team Anna and Benjamin aka team banana deliver a Polynesian dance that to me looked like Anna struggled to connect to the sexy theme and connect with the dance and get into character ….judge Michael agreed while the other judges don Lori Ann and Carrie praised and gave constructive criticism….to me it could’ve been better… Sophie gave her solo dance, she looked angelic flowing like air across the stage…Ezra and Madison perform an out of this world hip hop performance!!! dressed in astronaut suits delivering each step precise and to the beat, the crowd cheering in enjoyment they were very much in tune with each other and looked as if they were having fun while doing it,and all of the judges surprisingly agreed for the most part…. solo performance from Gino full of energy prancing across the stage like a little acrobat…
Moving into the second half Anna and Benjamin share a romantic Broadway-themed dance it was much better than their first dance..it was gentle and not as upbeat their characters were believable with their movements and the judges agreed on this one was definitely more their speed…next up Madison and Ezra do an Argentinean tango, a complicated routine with each step precise and careful leg work and delivery from Madison and Ezra supporting her they balanced out each other…solo from Benjamin was full of energy and demanded your attention something of a warrior theme. Solo from Anna a hip hop piece you can tell she was in her element and did well…Mariah and Bailey used their prop of a rooftop house during their piece to tell a romantic story I enjoyed this performance much more than the first they were on the same page and moved as one to tell their story as they were more confident in their techniques showing they felt at home on the stage.
Gino and Sophie dance a soulful playful jukebox themed dance and they did good and were in tune with each other…the judges praised them as they emerged as the new couple to beat the final solo of the night from Bailey was b-boy themed and full of energy and old school moves … Next, up the duo of four Madison, Benjamin Mariah and Gino perform a piece together cloaked in black and delivered a dark contemporary pop piece and they looked thick as thieves moving as one it was a strong and simple routine.
