The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that one CBS soap is taking a strong stance on her character’s love life. B&B fans know Annika Noelle for her work as Hope Spencer, who’s currently married to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Of course, Hope and Liam’s relationship is hanging by a thread due to the horrible loss of their daughter. Beth Spencer’s “death” clearly sent them down a dark path.
Before we get to Noelle’s view on the situation, let’s talk about how her character feels. Hope has been doing everything she can to convince Liam to be with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood). She’s transferring all the love she would’ve given Beth to “Phoebe Forrester” (Isabella de Armas and Redford Prindiville), which makes sense considering they’re the same baby!
Hope can’t stand the idea of Liam not being a family with Steffy, “Phoebe” and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman). She doesn’t want to keep them from living the deam, but Liam will push Hope to shift her way of thinking. He’ll try to make Hope understand that divorce isn’t the only option, so she’ll agree to stick together…for now.
Sadly, there’s a good chance that plan won’t last long. Hope’s still in a fragile state and Steffy’s loved ones will be pushing her to take her shot with Liam. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say it’ll be a huge mess, so can “Lope” endure all the obstacles? Noelle hopes so!
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Noelle discussed Liam and Hope’s relationship. It turns out she gives them a couple status that many fans don’t take lightly. “I certainly wouldn’t want to see them end without a fight,” Noelle said. “I personally think they’re soul mates and they’ll fight for each other’s love, but sometimes people drown in grief, so we’ll see what happens.”
Do you agree that Liam and Hope are soul mates? They definitely keep coming back to each other and picking up the broken pieces, but Steffy and Liam have done that, too. You could probably make a solid argument on either side. Liam has always waffled back and forth between these two love interests, so determining his soul mate is a matter of personal opinion.
Hope and Liam have a sweet romance, but is it too sweet? Some might contend that Steffy’s spicy side balances out Liam’s sweet nature. Then again, Steffy did cheat on Liam with his own father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so maybe that leaves a blemish on their soul mate record for you.
