The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Valentine’s Day won’t be a very romantic one for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). They’re still struggling with the loss of Beth Spencer, so they just won’t be in the mood to celebrate.
However, they can at least lean on each other for support and try to move forward as a couple. That’s certainly what Liam will hope for. Unfortunately, Hope will remain stuck on the night Beth “died.” She’s haunted by what happened on Catalina Island, so there’s no sign of closure just yet. It looks like Liam will want to give Hope that.
If she’s ever going to put this behind her, perhaps the best thing Hope can do is truly immerse herself in the experience. Maybe she needs to let her mind take her back before she can really let go.
Liam will worry about Hope overwhelming herself with all this, but he’ll support her efforts. He’ll just want Hope to find peace somehow. Hope may have to suffer a bit more first, but Liam will stay by her side and hold her hand. He wasn’t there for Beth’s birth, but he can be there as Hope relives the horror that unfolded.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will close her eyes and recall every last detail she can. Certain things will be fuzzy since Hope was pretty out of it that night. Hope eventually lost consciousness, which gave Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) the chance to swap her baby for a dead one.
Still, there has to be a reason B&B is going over this again. It seems likely that Hope will recall a memory she didn’t know she had. Perhaps Hope saw something just before or after she passed out. Hope might even convince herself that she saw Beth alive at some point.
Naturally, Liam wouldn’t buy that. He’d probably think Hope’s grief was just playing tricks on her. Liam may advise Hope to accept Beth’s fate, but what if she can’t? Will Hope develop some stunning suspicions and start digging for answers? Will this mourning mom crack the case down the road?
