The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) is speaking out on her character’s love life. In a recent Facebook live chat, Wood and Heather Tom (Katie Logan) spent some time dishing on the show and their favorite storylines. They answered questions from B&B fans and weighed in on what they’d like to see moving forward.
Wood had some surprising opinions on what should be next for Steffy romantically. She hinted that maybe it was time to steer away from Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She said, “I mean, Steffy and Liam are…nice?” Technically, she said it more like “niiiiiice,” so it sounds like Wood would like to move out of Liam’s love triangles for a while! Her next comments backed up that idea.
“Maybe Steffy needs a little spice in her life,” Wood admitted. “She did just get back from Paris so…” Wood suggested even a fling would be fun. She’s just interested in “some new blood” for Steffy and she might even have the perfect man waiting for her. Wood talked about the surprising fan support for “Steo,” which came about after the very handsome Leo (Sam Myerson) asked Steffy on a date.
Steffy turned Leo down because she wasn’t ready, but she could be more open to the idea now or when “Phoebe Forrester” (Isabella de Armas and Rosaline Aune) gets a bit older. Of course, “Phoebe” will be returned to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) eventually anyway. Steffy will have more time on her hands then! She could end up looking for someone to mend her broken heart.
Regardless, Wood certainly wouldn’t mind exploring Steffy and Leo’s romance. “I wonder if we’ll ever revisit that because I couldn’t believe the amount of people that really liked this Leo,” Wood said. She also addressed the baby swap plot and all the interesting things that could come from that. Wood can’t wait to see what The Bold and the Beautiful has in store for viewers.
“I’m really excited to see where this storyline goes and how it’s all gonna unfold,” Wood said. It was a great interview with lots of fun tidbits, including Steffy’s return airdate. She’ll be back onscreen starting May 23, so that’s something to look forward to.
