The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, January 7, tease that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will make a safe landing on Catalina Island. They’ll hop off the helicopter and get over to the clinic just as fast as they can. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) recently gave birth there, so they’ll all be anxious to see Beth.
Sadly, none of them will meet the bright-eyed, bouncing bundle they expected. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will go in first. She’ll head inside Hope’s room and notice the glum look on her daughter’s face. She’ll wonder if everything’s OK, but Hope’s expression will tell her that a tragedy has happened. B&B fans can expect some tears as Hope admits Beth is gone.
Hope will undoubtedly blame herself for the baby mayhem that just unfolded. This trip was her idea, but it went horribly wrong from the get-go. Hope may feel like her child could’ve been saved under the right circumstances. However, Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) claimed this occurred because of a placental abruption. It doesn’t sound like there’s anything Hope could’ve done differently.
Brooke will offer reassurance and all the comfort she can give. There’s only so much Brooke can do for Hope, but she’ll trust that her presence will help somewhat. Hope needs her mom now more than ever, so she’ll be thankful Brooke made the flight over.
Liam will also be grateful for Bill and Ridge’s support. The three of them will corner Reese at the clinic and pummel him with questions about Hope’s delivery. Ridge and Bill will struggle to wrap their heads around Beth’s death, but they’ll push Liam to keep his strength up and be there for Hope. They’ll have to rely on each other as they try to move forward.
As for Reese, he’ll grow nervous about a startling secret – and we’re not just talking about his gambling debt! It appears Reese swapped Liam and Hope’s little girl for another woman’s deceased child. Beth will most likely be sold so Reese can pay off the thug, but “Lope” will remain in mourning. It’ll be a while before they even get a hint about the stunning truth.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get tangled up in all this sooner or later, so don’t miss the messy adoption drama ahead.
