The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will struggle with suspicions. After he hears about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rushed adoption and catches Dr. Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) with case full of cash, he’ll assume something’s off. This just isn’t how adoptions are done! Ridge won’t understand why Taylor isn’t asking more questions.
B&B fans can expect a heated argument, but Ridge may back down in the end. Perhaps he’ll just shove aside his doubts and let Steffy be happy. Any lingering fears may melt away when Ridge meets Phoebe Forrester (Rosalind Aune and Isabella de Armes). He might see that she’s the perfect addition to Steffy’s family and decide how they got her doesn’t matter.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have concerns as well, but Ridge may assure her this is legit. He could argue that Taylor claims she’s been working with an esteemed colleague on this. Ridge may eventually determine that Steffy’s happiness is what’s most important and convince himself everything’s fine.
However, there may be a good reason behind those initial doubts for Ridge. They’ll most likely come back into play later as more clues surface. At some point, Ridge may figure out that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is the real birth mother. He could realize Phoebe is actually Beth Spencer.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will find out the truth eventually. Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) and Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will push Zoe to keep quiet, but she may feel the need to blab to someone. Ridge would be a good option. Zoe might come clean about what she’s up against and ask what she should do.
After all, Steffy is Zoe’s boss. She may worry about getting fired for blowing Steffy’s family apart. Destroying Steffy’s fam won’t be something Ridge is interested in doing either. We have no problem believing Ridge would let Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continue to suffer for Steffy’s benefit.
Of course, that’s a decision that could prove costly. If Ridge learns the swap shocker and stays silent, you can bet Brooke will hit the roof when she finds out. Their marriage probably couldn’t survive a betrayal like that.
