The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that fan wars continue to heat up over Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) love life. B&B has had Liam caught between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for years now. It’s earned him quite the reputation as the show’s resident waffler, but many viewers are ready to get off the merry-go-round.
Liam was drugged by Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so we’ll cut him some slack on his decision to sleep with Steffy. However, Liam did indeed sleep with Steffy, so his conversation with Hope afterward wasn’t a good look for either side of this love triangle. Liam went on and on about his love for Hope and how it wasn’t too late for them. This was all shortly after being in bed with his other ex.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will move forward with Steffy now, but he assured Hope that he would always love her. It certainly seems like the show’s setting Steffy up to get her heart broken.
Many Steam Fans Are More Than Ready To Abandon Ship
The current writing is causing some “Steam” fans to abandon ship! Does Steffy deserve better than Liam at this point? If Liam can’t give her all his heart, should she reject him altogether?
On Twitter, plenty of B&B watchers shared their perspectives on Queen Steffy needing a new man. “I am Team Steffy, period,” one fan said. “I loved Steam, but they killed it for me a year ago.” Another fan tweeted, “Gosh I am sick of this!! Steffy deserves so much better.”
One more viewer said, “The only person Liam puts 1st is Liam. Period. He’s a immature waffling cheater. Steffy deserves better than this jerk.”
Most Would Rather See Steffy With A Hot New Love Interest
The Bold and the Beautiful clearly has people riled up over this issue. If they’re trying to sell “Steam” as something to root for, they’re not going a very good job of it – at least not yet.
Maybe the writing will shift and win over fans of this couple again, but a lot them just seem ready to let go. They’d rather see Steffy get a hot new love interest and stick to co-parenting.
Whatever happens, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will get some good material after “Phoebe Forrester” (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) is revealed as Beth Spencer. Fans can look forward to gripping drama!
