The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, December 19, tease that some hot drama’s coming up. We should note that B&B was preempted for impeachment news coverage on Wednesday, which pushed this episode back to Thursday. However, we’ve got all the latest info and can give you the scoop on what’s set to happen.
For starters, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will reveal his plan to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). B&B spoilers say Liam will remain hopeful about exposing Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) true intentions. He feels confident Thomas is still a troublemaker, but he’s eager to get to the bottom of things no matter what.
As for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), she’ll still be in a tight spot thanks to the fashion showdown. Hope could really use a designer, but none of her ideas are panning out. She’ll eventually relent work with Thomas on this competition, but there’ll be another crisis to tackle in the meantime.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will step up for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) during a crucial meeting. He’ll make a powerful pitch about Zoe’s talent as a model and the hard work she put in at Forrester Creations. Thomas will get that Zoe’s made some big mistakes just like he has. However, he’ll hope that they can all put the family and the company first.
Hope will be horrified that Thomas is defending Zoe and even suggesting the option of her return. She’ll wonder when Thomas and Zoe got so close anyway. Hope will be more than a little skeptical about this sudden bond of theirs! Nevertheless, Thomas will assure Hope that he’s being objective. He’ll argue that Zoe could be a valuable team player if everyone will just give her another shot.
After Thomas turns to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and pleads for compassion, Zoe will insist she needs to speak for herself. She’ll admit she’s been worried about saying the wrong thing, but she’ll have some stuff she needs to get off her chest. Zoe will apologize profusely for her role in the baby swap saga. She’ll point out that she was under a great deal of pressure, but she’ll also understand that her deception was terrible.
Zoe will want to make it up to Hope, Steffy and everyone else. She’ll beg for an opportunity to redeem herself, so The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say each person at the meeting will weigh in. Eric Forrester (Eric McCook) won’t deny that Zoe’s talented, but he’ll feel like she’s asking a lot. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will snap that he had every right to fire Zoe and would do it again!
Even so, Ridge will admit he’s trying to be a more forgiving person these days. He’ll suggest that it should be Steffy’s call. Steffy will shut her eyes briefly and prepare to make her choice. The fact that Steffy’s hesitating will be appalling to Hope. She won’t get why Steffy would even consider rehiring Zoe after what she did.
Hope will rant about Zoe standing by in silence while they suffered. She’ll add that their lives were changed forever because of Zoe’s actions. Hope will deliver an emotional plea and advise against letting Zoe back in the company. Steffy will look a bit torn, but she’ll quickly flash back to Liam pitching his plot. She’ll remember Liam insisting that Zoe was their chance to find out the truth about Thomas.
Once Steffy’s back in the present, she’ll talk about the lie that Zoe perpetuated. Steffy will declare that it put a hole her heart and brought the worst “visceral, raw pain” she’s ever felt. Zoe will reply that she’s so sorry, and Steffy will claim she believes that. She’ll reveal that she’s giving Zoe another chance, but she’ll expect total loyalty! One step out of line and Zoe’s days at FC are over.
Zoe will promise she understands and won’t cause any trouble. And with that, Steffy will welcome Zoe back to Forrester Creations. Thomas will smile over Steffy’s choice and will offer gratitude to his sis. Ridge and Eric will seem taken aback by Steffy’s willingness to move forward, but they’ll be impressed.
Hope, on the other hand, will be aghast that this is actually happening. She’ll get in Steffy’s face to rant again, but Steffy will try to explain. Since Steffy’s only doing this as part of Liam’s scheme, she’ll wish Hope could understand why she’s following her gut. Steffy will want Hope to trust her on this and will argue that she’s doing what needs to be done.
