The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, April 30, tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be haunted by memories of losing her daughter, Beth Spencer. She’ll be working at Forrester Creations when the power suddenly goes out. Everything will go dark for a while, and Hope will experience terrible flashbacks to the night of Beth’s birth and “death.”
Of course, B&B viewers know that Beth didn’t really die that night, but Hope believes she did, and so the terrible memories will come flooding back for her. She’ll remember going to the clinic on Catalina Island during the storm and being in heavy labor when all the lights went out. The memories will be terrifying for her, and she’ll need some support to get through it.
Since she’ll be at Forrester, Hope will have support on hand, and it looks like it will be in the form of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). According to B&B spoilers, Thomas will offer Hope comfort and talk her down. The two will get to talking, and Hope will confide something to Thomas about “Phoebe Forrester” (Isabella de Armas and Rosalind Aune).
Specifically, Hope will tell Thomas that she really misses Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the girls, but that she especially misses Phoebe. She’ll confess that she feels a deep connection to Phoebe that she couldn’t really explain until she learned that Phoebe’s birth mom was Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden), who’s a Logan.
Of course, Thomas will be thrilled that Hope is confiding in him, and that he can be there for her when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) can’t be. Thomas has a plot going to break up Hope and Liam so that he can have Hope all for himself. He’s been ingratiating himself to Hope, and the power outage will play right into his hand.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Tuesday, April 30, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), Flo, and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will have a long discussion. They seem to be at a crossroads, with Flo feeling incredibly guilty over participating in Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) baby swap and adoption scam. Flo’s ready to go tell Hope the truth that Beth is alive.
But Shauna and Zoe are adamant that Flo can’t do that. Shauna and Zoe don’t see eye to eye on everything, and they don’t really seem to like each other, but they agree on one thing…that it would be a disaster if Flo spilled the truth to Hope. Sure, Flo would feel better in the moment, and Hope would be thrilled to get her daughter back, but the subsequent consequences would be awful.
So, the three women will sit down and discuss the pros and cons of keeping their secret, and it seems that the goal will be for Shauna and Zoe to convince Flo that she’s much better off keeping the secret than spilling it. We’ll see if they’re successful, but it appears that this baby swap storyline is going to continue for a while, so it looks like they will be, and that Flo will agree to keep quiet for now.
