The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 18, teases that Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will freak over her mom’s admission. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) just confessed to spending a wonderful night with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but she should eventually clarify the situation for Flo. That’ll bring some relief, but he won’t completely ease Flo’s mind.
That’s because Shauna will admit she has feelings for Ridge – feelings that Flo will consider quite dangerous. B&B fans know Shauna and Flo are already scum to the Logan clan. It doesn’t seem like they could get much lower, but it’s possible if Shauna steals Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) husband. Flo will point out that Ridge is married and will have to remain off-limits indefinitely.
However, Flo won’t be convinced Shauna can leave this alone. Despite her stern warning, Flo undoubtedly knows that dreamy look in her mother’s eyes. She’ll sense that Shauna’s fallen hard and could fall even harder in the coming weeks. The thing about feelings is they often grow if you don’t shut them down – and Shauna has no interest in truly packing away this budding love.
While Flo deals with smitten Shauna, Ridge will tackle a tricky situation with Brooke. He’s gotten through his story without mentioning Shauna so far, but he may contemplate tacking her on at the end. Part of Ridge must realize he needs to come clean and avoid all the drama of a secret, but Ridge won’t wind up doing the right thing. Instead, he’ll keep his mouth shut about who he spent the night with and hope the truth never comes out.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the tension will continue to lift on Wednesday. They’ll finish their discussion and perhaps agree to disagree on certain issues in their marriage. Ridge is still firmly in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) corner and Brooke is firmly against him, but maybe they can find ways to compromise. They’ll plan to do whatever it takes to keep their relationship going strong.
Alas, Ridge and Shauna’s secret should bring some misunderstandings and accusations down the road. Will Brooke and Ridge be able to survive the storm?
