The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for the week of January 21 tease that some big secrets will start to unravel. For starters, Florence aka “Flo” (Katrina Bowden) will learn a little more about Dr. Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) plan – and she won’t like it. Reese will end up defending his scheme and delivering a desperate plea. He’ll hope he can convince Flo to stick with him on this.
Flo may end up forcing Reese to sweeten the pot, but he’ll indeed keep his partner in crime. Later, Florence will speak with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and assure her this baby’s meant for her. Once Steffy meets the kiddo she’s adopting, it won’t take her long to fall in love. The connection will be instant, so Steffy will decide this adoption is definitely happening.
Elsewhere, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will continue to have a rough time. She’ll alternate between moments of total sorrow and angry meltdowns. During one of her rage episodes, Hope will blast Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for thinking he could ever understand her pain. She’ll rant that Liam’s got another child to love, so he just doesn’t get it.
Liam will be taken aback by Hope’s anger as well as her hurtful comment. He’ll feel like she’s minimizing his grief, but she’ll sort of have a point. Liam can rely on comfort from Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman) to get him through this. He’s certainly feeling the sting of Beth’s loss, but Kelly makes it bearable. Hope doesn’t have another baby of her own to cling to.
Later, Liam will turn to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) for guidance. He’ll wonder what he can do to help his wife. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Wyatt will give his brother a warning. He may think Hope needs more of Liam’s attention. If Liam spends all his time hanging out with Steffy and Kelly, it’ll give Hope another reason to resent the “Steam” family.
Back with Reese, he’ll hold off the thugs as long as he can. Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is still in danger, but Reese will hope to keep the threat at bay. Flo will actually provide some assistance, so she could be putting herself in danger, too. Thankfully, things should work out. As horrible as Reese’s apparent scheme is, none of us want to see his innocent daughter get hurt.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) will try to spice up his marriage, but he’ll keep fretting over Katie Forrester’s (Heather Tom) bond with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Part of Thorne will wonder if “Batie” is endgame, so more trouble’s brewing. B&B fans can expect Thorne and Katie’s relationship to take some serious hits.
