The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) plot could backfire big time. It’s a risk to use Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) as part of the plan to expose Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Zoe cares about Thomas and wants to believe he’s trying to change. She’ll want to believe that even more after Thomas wines and dines her on a romantic date.
A wary Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will agree to watch Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) so Thomas and Zoe can be alone. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say she’ll tell Liam about this date night, which will immediately leave him concerned. That’s when the first signs of real doubt will creep in for Liam. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say he’ll begin to worry that Zoe won’t be the loyal secret weapon he wanted.
Of course, Liam will probably hide his fears and just urge Hope to keep her eyes open when it comes to Thomas. He’ll fret about not taking Thomas down fast enough, which could put Hope in a more vulnerable position. Thomas and Hope will be working together on fashion showdown prep, so Thomas can pretend he’s turned things around and perhaps bond with Hope in a different way.
As for Liam’s plot, B&B spoilers say it could fall apart if Zoe tips Thomas off to trouble. Thomas could easily play the victim here. He can go crying to Hope about how he really wanted a future with Zoe but got duped. Thomas can put all the blame on Liam for orchestrating this scheme and convince Hope she’s a victim, too. He may point out that the man Hope’s put on a pedestal has been lying to her.
Thomas can use this as another opportunity to point out he’s not the only one willing to keep secrets. Hope will certainly be hurt since Liam left her out of the loop while including Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Liam also used Zoe, someone who caused a great deal of pain for Hope. There’s nothing about this plan Hope will like since she was stuck in the dark with Thomas.
In other words, Thomas could bond with Hope over this while Liam pays the price. Since Hope would blast Steffy as well, that could help Steffy connect with Liam. She might comfort him in the aftermath and assure him that his heart was in the right place. Liam just wanted to protect Hope, but he may end up driving her into Thomas’ arms instead!
