The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been an enigma ever since she first showed up in Genoa City. As Y&R viewers know, she showed up on Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) doorstep, allegedly not knowing that she was a dead ringer for his deceased wife Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Devon was immediately skeptical, especially since Amanda was an integral part of a strange plan to contest Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will.
As it turned out, the statute of limitations for contesting the will had passed, which Amanda as a top-notch lawyer should have known. And now, Devon’s in the process of forking over most of his fortune to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) when the whole thing could be a scam perpetrated by Cane’s father, Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). As Y&R viewers know, Amanda has been seen here and there on the phone talking to someone about where “he” is, making it seem like she’s talking either to or about Colin.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say something’s clearly awry with Amanda still, even though she seems to be completely on the up-and-up as she’s helping Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) with his medical board inquiry. As Y&R viewers know, Nate is under investigation due to his role in helping Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fake his own death. Amanda will surely be able to help clear Nate’s name, but in doing so she’s had to come face-to-face with Victor himself.
Of course, Victor was happy to help in Nate’s defense, but he couldn’t help but be startled to see Amanda, who so closely resembles Hilary. That led Victor to get on his phone and instruct an associate to find out everything they can on Amanda. And this leads us to wonder whether Victor will be able to turn up something on Amanda that Devon hasn’t been able to find. Victor’s tactics tend to be a little more underground, so who knows what he’ll turn up.
According to Y&R spoilers, Amanda will soon be confronted with her past and will be forced to come clean about something. So it seems that Victor might find something in her past that raises eyebrows. Might he uncover something that suggests she had a hidden motive for getting involved in contesting Katherine’s will? Clearly, whoever was behind hiring Amanda had to have known of her strong resemblance to Hilary – maybe Victor will be able to uncover who she’s really working for once and for all. This should lead to the eventual reveal of Amanda’s relationship to Hilary – which Mishael Morgan hinted does in fact exist.
At any rate, it would great for Y&R viewers to finally get some answers about the will contestation ploy as well as about who Amanda really is and how she got involved with the whole thing to begin with. And of course, the sooner the better for Devon, since he’s about to hand over an outrageously large sum of money to Cane. Victor just might end up saving Devon’s fortune for him!
