The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that yet another Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) connection will shake things up. We’ve already had Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) around to bring some drama. A mysterious man named Daryl Tulane (Gordon Thomson) will cause issues starting July 29. That’ll build toward one more crucial Chelsea-related comeback: money-grubbing Mommy dearest.
Y&R viewers know Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) is a big fan of cash. However, she’s also a useful helper to Chelsea when the need arises. According to TV Insider, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Anita will hit town again starting August 8. Will Anita come home to assist with a Chelsea crisis? Could it be one that the mystery man named Daryl sets in motion?
Whatever the case, many viewers will be happy to see Anita pop up. She’s a fun character who always has an opinion on Chelsea’s love life. Chelsea recently mentioned that Anita dated Calvin first, but he ended up with her instead. Was that what Anita had in mind all along? It’s possible it was a scheme to push Chelsea and Calvin together.
Then again, Calvin seemed a little too controlling. Maybe there was some blackmail involved or some other twist that’ll be revealed once Anita’s in the picture. Regardless, there’s more to the story with his guy. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will mourn the loss after Calvin’s death, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be relieved on some level.
It’ll be interesting to see how Anita affects Chelsea’s looming love triangle. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has more money than Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) these days, so that may be a factor for Anita. Since Anita also rooted for Chelsea and Adam in the past, she may remain on “Team Adam.” Adam might be wise to have a little chat with Anita and see if there are ways she can help.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam definitely won’t give Chelsea up without a fight. He has no intention of losing Chelsea to his brother. Nick is the safe choice, so Chelsea will gravitate toward him in the coming weeks. Even so, Chelsea’s wild heart will inevitably long for Adam. He’s the complex soul that she just can’t stay away from.
