The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have to do some soul-searching. Y&R fans know Billy was stressed out and becoming more aggressive every day. He realized his anger toward Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was misplaced and opted to take himself out of the cosmetics game. Billy just wasn’t satisfied at Jabot anymore, so he resigned and intends to find something he can put his heart into.
Of course, figuring out what that is may be tougher than Billy realizes. In the episode airing November 27, Billy has another therapy session with Dr. Clay (Sandra Thigpen). She hints that there’s no quick fix for Billy, who has to get to the root of his problems. Dr. Clay also suggests Billy may be self-sabotaging because he feels he’s not worthy of respect. She wonders if Billy even likes himself, so that’s something he’ll be mulling over in the coming episodes.
During the week of December 2-6, Billy will find another lost soul to connect with. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) also seems to have some issues in her past she hasn’t properly dealt with. Plus, she’s in this new town where everyone looks at her like she’s the ghost of someone else. Amanda has Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) face, so making friends is complicated and challenging.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has befriended Amanda, but she still feels the need to stop by that little dive bar and reflect alone sometimes. She can’t truly let her walls down with Nate yet – perhaps since he’s so close to Devon. Amanda knows it would cause issues if she started dating Nate, so that’s something she may continue to shy away from for now.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will find herself back at that dive bar, which she appears to view as a safe haven. It’s not the typical GC hotspot, so she can relax with the jukebox there and free her mind. This time Amanda will be joined by Billy, and they’ll hit it off as friends. They’re both feeling lost in some ways, so it’ll be easy for them to form a fast connection.
Y&R fans can expect a storm to roll in and bring a power outage. After the lights go out, Billy and Amanda will opt to wait in the bar together. They’ll think they’d better let the storm pass, which means they’ll have plenty of time to kill. Billy will undoubtedly open up to Amanda about his identity crisis and get some guidance. Perhaps he can convince Amanda to share a little and offer advice to her as well.
Could this lead to more than friendship between Amanda and Billy? The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will wrestle with old habits during the week of December 9-13. Cheating was certainly an old habit of his! Regardless, Billy will spend the night at the dive bar with Amanda and potentially set himself up for trouble down the road.
