The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will find himself in a life-or-death situation. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is desperate to have Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) back with her in Oregon. She just wants to put all the recent Adam drama behind her and get back to raising Bella Fisher (Cali May Kinder).
Since Chloe’s concerned about Kevin doing Adam’s bidding, Billy vowed to take care of it. Unfortunately, that gun Billy grabbed undoubtedly isn’t what Chloe had in mind! She’s obviously tried to kill Adam before, including that gunshot to the abdomen recently. However, Chloe doesn’t want to make this worse – which threatening Adam at gunpoint again could certainly do.
That seems to be exactly where this hot plot’s headed though. After all, Y&R wouldn’t have introduced the gun into this situation if they didn’t plan on letting Billy use it. That doesn’t mean Billy will necessarily fire it, but he’ll at least spark some fear and ensure Kevin can return to Chloe.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say déjà vu is in Billy’s future. He’ll find himself in familiar territory on July 5, so there are some interesting clues to consider. That’s a Friday, so this could set up a cliffhanger worth tuning in for. As for the familiar part, that may be the act of holding Adam at gunpoint. Billy did the same thing back when he first discovered Adam was behind the hit-and-run that killed Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono).
Will Billy make sure he’s got a captive audience and insist they’re going to get a few things straight? They’d both be wise to reach a mutually beneficial understanding. Billy promised Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he wouldn’t go off the rails and let rage consume him. Chloe’s return brought up some painful memories and feelings for Billy, but he doesn’t need to put his reunited family in jeopardy.
Likewise, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam has Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) to consider. Chelsea will drag her feet initially, but that won’t stop Adam from fighting for their future. He may talk Billy off the ledge so they can both keep their family dreams alive.
