The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some bad luck will turn into a lucky break – at least for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). The trouble will start when Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) has a bit too much to drink. It looks like she’ll accidentally ram right into Adam’s car, but it should just be a little fender bender.
After Adam makes sure Phyllis gets home safely, they’ll open up to each other. Phyllis will still be on the tipsy side, but she’ll manage to be coherent enough to hint at her plans. That’ll give Adam an idea about some plans of his own.
He’ll decide that maybe they can help each other, but this will naturally be more about what Phyllis can do for him. Adam will be the one pushing for an alliance at first.
It seems Phyllis will be manipulated in her inebriated state. Adam will get her all riled up about how the Abbotts have treated her. He’ll likely plan to revive the Newman-Abbott war by joining forces with Phyllis.
Since Phyllis hates Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she’d be fine with him getting caught in the drama. Adam may have a new scheme that could benefit from Phyllis’ talents and information.
Of course, Phyllis will eventually sober up and have a clearer view of the situation. Adam’s manipulation tactics may work in the intoxicated moment, but Phyllis will be able to think for herself soon. Nevertheless, Phyllis will have every reason to remain on board.
What’s she really got to lose at this point? Phyllis may think teaming up with Adam is the best drunken decision she’s ever made.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Adam will indeed become a force to be reckoned with. They’re about to take Genoa City by storm with their sneak attacks and major bombshells. Adam and Phyllis should really shake things up for both Jabot and Newman Enterprises.
However, Y&R fans know how these two characters operate. They tend to be very self-serving, so it’s risky for Phyllis and Adam to partner up. The Young and the Restless hint that some exciting twists are brewing, so it’ll be interesting to see if their risk is worth it.
