The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have some difficult situations to deal with soon. As Y&R viewers know, Chelsea recently convinced Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to allow Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to partake in some Newman Christmas activities. Nick reluctantly agreed when Chelsea insisted that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) should be able to spend time with all his family at once.
But it seems that Adam won’t be on board with this plan. Chelsea seemed to assume that Adam would want to spend time with Nick and possibly other members of the Newman family for the holiday, but it appears that this won’t be the case. Rather, Adam will decide that he wants to take Connor to the farm where he grew up. Of course, that won’t sit well with Chelsea who won’t want to be away from Connor for the holidays.
But then Adam will spring his big plan on Chelsea – he’ll want her to come with him and spend time at the farm with him and Connor. Plus, Adam will know that Nick really doesn’t want him around, and he won’t be thrilled with spending time with Nick, either. But it seems that Chelsea will see through Adam’s plan and she’ll think that Adam’s trying to pull Connor away from the rest of the Newmans for the holidays.
This will apparently lead to a larger discussion between Chelsea and Adam, during which Adam brings up memories from the farm, which is also where Chelsea and Adam got married. He’ll hope that a little trip down memory lane will revive old feelings in Chelsea, and according to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Adam will even declare his love for Chelsea.
But Chelsea’s not going to fall for any of this, apparently. She’ll insist to Adam that while they will always share in important bond in Connor, she’s completely in love with Nick. Well, Adam’s not one to take rejection well, and he won’t like hearing that his little plan to get Chelsea to move in and spend most of her time in the penthouse hasn’t totally come between her and Nick.
Of course, Y&R viewers know that Chelsea and Nick recently did reconnect in a big way, as they spent a night together and made love. They seem to have a renewed sense that things will work out, and that once this rough spot with Connor is done, then they’ll be together again full-time. Of course, that’s probably a pipe dream, given how Adam is currently scheming against them, unless something major happens…like if Chelsea were to be pregnant from her night with Nick.
That would be something that would certainly enrage Adam and would really throw a wrinkle into his plan to get Chelsea to stay at the penthouse with him and Connor indefinitely. But it would also probably make Chelsea’s life a lot more complicated, too. If she thinks that Nick is pulling her in his direction strongly now, just wait until he finds out (if he does) that she’s carrying his child. Chelsea would then be torn between the two fathers of her children, and it would probably get messy.
We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that Chelsea and Nick’s recent night together might produce a pregnancy, and if so, things are going to get pretty complicated for Chelsea, Nick, and Adam. It certainly won’t make things any easier between the brothers, that’s for sure!
