The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) will have quite a tale to tell Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). She’ll show up ready to rip into Colin over the will scam and let him know she’s onto him. However, Colin planted the clue for Jill to find and will reveal that during their upcoming conversation. He’ll point out that he wanted Jill to find him in the Maldives.
Naturally, Jill will be a mixture of confused, curious and exasperated. She’ll be sick of all Colin’s mind games, so she’ll push him to tell her what the heck’s going on. After Jill reveals that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) transferred his billions over to Cane, Colin will think that’s wonderful. He’ll feel like everything’s going according to plan.
Jill will once again be ready to blast Colin, but he’s not the only guilty party here. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Colin will share a shocking story – one that points the finger at Cane. Now we know Cane was knocked out in Vegas and woke up in a dark room with the will pages. However, that doesn’t really mean anything. Billons were on the line, so why not make it look as legit as possible?
After all, Cane couldn’t be sure he wasn’t being followed. There’s a chance all that was part of the charade. It could at least be explained that way NOW. It’s also possible Cane found out what was going on offscreen and decided he wanted the money. Keep in mind that Daniel Goddard is exiting Y&R, so some story adjustments may have been made along the way.
Regardless, Colin will maintain that Cane was part of the con, and that news will absolutely infuriate Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will continue to deny, deny, deny… He’ll get into a heated argument with Devon and insist he’s telling the truth, but is he really?
Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) may be the key to answering that question. In the episode airing November 20, Simon points out that he info that could be useful to the Feds – info on Colin Atkinson! If Cane’s tied to the will mess, it seems likely Simon will know about it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will have to face up to his actions eventually, so it sounds like he’s at least somewhat guilty. Whether he was in on it from the start or joined in later, It’s doubtful Cane is squeaky clean. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge.
