The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap star is trying something new for charity. Y&R fans know Eric Braeden as Victor Newman in Genoa City. Victor recently retired from his role as CEO of Newman Enterprises and gave Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) the position for good – at least that’s what she believes!
Now Victor has plenty of free time on his hands, so he’ll have to figure out what to do with it. Braeden’s still a busy guy in real life, but he managed to squeeze in a fun project recently. It turns out Braeden has a hidden talent: lip syncing.
On Twitter, Braeden posted a great video of himself pretending to belt out a tune. He joined several other celebrities in lip syncing to raise money for UNICEF – the United Nations Children’s Fund. Other celebs getting in on the action include Jon Lovitz, Paris Hilton, J.J. Abrams, Julianne Hough and many more.
Braeden posted a link for anyone interested in buying the full song and music video made to accompany it. Of course, some Young and the Restless viewers were eager to hear Braeden actually sing. One fan replied to Braeden’s tweet and suggested he needed to do a solo. Braeden got a good laugh over that idea. It doesn’t seem he’s on board with sharing his singing voice! He tweeted, “Hahahahahahaha! In the shower…. by myself!!!”
As for what’s next in GC, there’s no word yet on the new challenges Victor might tackle. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) return to town will definitely shake things up.
