The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 1, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be frantic over Katie Abbott’s (Sienna Mercuri) disappearance. She’ll give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) updates, so he’ll contact security and start a search of the property. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) arrive soon after. She’ll freak over the possibility that Katie’s been kidnapped.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will show up to help handle the crisis. He’ll look at security footage, but no one will be visible. Victor will feel like it must be someone who knows where the cameras are and can avoid them. At Jabot, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be frustrated over Victoria’s decision to push him away. He’ll end up venting to Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni), but he won’t like her advice.
Phyllis will argue that Billy needs to back off. This reunion is a two-way thing, so Billy doesn’t get to dictate whether it happens or not. Victoria’s choice is hers and hers alone. Billy will gripe, but Phyllis will contend that she’s not his therapist. They’ll get back down to business as usual, so Billy will have to sort out his love life on his own.
Suddenly, a call will come in about Katie’s disappearance. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will rush over to the ranch and throw a fit. Nick will suggest that maybe Katie just wandered off to play somewhere. Billy will snap that Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) wandered off, too. He’ll refuse to lose another daughter like this.
Billy will lash out when Victoria sides with Victor and Nick about not calling the police yet. Victoria will urge Billy to speak with the head of security instead. An exasperated Billy will start to call the cops himself, so that’ll lead to more arguing.
Y&R spoilers state that Nikki will eventually shush everyone. They’ll listen as Katie sings and determine that she’s inside the walls. It looks like she found her special friend’s secret passageway!
At the Abbott mansion, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will have concerns about Summer Newman (Hunter King). She’ll tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that Summer can give him what he wants – meaning sex.
Lola will suspect that Kyle isn’t as cool with waiting as he appears to be. Kyle will offer reassurance, so Lola will better about the situation. As they embrace, the look on Kyle’s face will tell a different story. It definitely seems like some sexual frustration is building up.
At the coffeehouse, Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) will discuss the recent engagement drama. Mia will suggest that her anger wasn’t really about Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She’ll note that she mainly didn’t like the spotlight being taken away. However, Mia will confess that it hurt to watch Arturo propose. He always said he’d never marry, so that had to sting.
Arturo won’t be sure they can all get along as a family, but Mia will push for it. She’ll insist that they can find a way to be friends. Afterward, Arturo will have a beer with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) upstairs. They’ll talk about the prenup Arturo signed along with Victor’s upcoming trial. Rey will point out that Arturo’s signing up for a lifetime of Newman mayhem, but his brother won’t be worried.
Back at Jabot, Mia will show up to do Phyllis’ hair and makeup. It won’t take long for Phyllis to pick up on Mia’s pain. She’ll convince Mia to share what’s bothering her, so Mia will talk about the Rosales brothers.
She’ll insist that she loves Rey and doesn’t want to do any more damage, but it’s hard to turn off how she feels about Arturo. Mia will grumble about how Abby just can’t make Arturo happy.
Phyllis will understand that it’s difficult, but she’ll feel like Mia has to let Arturo go. Blowing everything up wouldn’t be good for any of them. Of course, it’s doubtful Mia will listen to Phyllis’ guidance!
