The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 25, tease that secrets will spread on the CBS soap. First, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will learn one that involves his ex. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will face an unexpected crisis, so this might have something to with what Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) about to divulge.
On Thursday, Nikki doesn’t buy Phyllis Summers’ (Gina Tognoni) story. Phyllis insists she’s not the one who’s framing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but Nikki refuses to budge on the issue. She decides Nick needs to know who he’s sleeping with, so she calls him and mentions something that could shake up the investigation as well as his relationship.
Will Nikki follow through with her plan to destroy Phyllis and Nick’s romance? Friday’s new Y&R episode, January 25, will definitely bring some shocking developments. Nikki may point the finger at Phyllis and explain the fireplace poker details. She may decide that a line’s been crossed, so she’ll have to cross a few, too.
If that’s the road Nikki’s headed down, she’ll need to reveal more about the night J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) died. Nick will have to find out Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wasn’t the only one assisting their mom.
Nikki might admit Phyllis helped them at the girls’ night party. If so, it shouldn’t be too hard for Nick to figure out that Sharon was involved, too. Nikki may even confess it right off the bat.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say something will happen that turns Sharon against the Newmans, so this seems like a good fit. She’ll realize Phyllis was right about Nikki and Victoria being willing to betray them. Sharon will tell Phyllis she’s in on their new partnership, so the drama’s about to heat up.
Over with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), he’ll face backlash over a different spilled secret. It looks like Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) will fill Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) in on Cane’s kisses with Victoria. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) blabbed and now Lily’s suffering even more.
Neil and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) obviously won’t be happy about that. They’ll blast Cane on Friday as they worry about Lily’s despair behind bars. Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will feel like he might need to break things off with Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter).
However, some advice from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may change Jack’s mind. Kerry at least deserves a chance to explain. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will corner Kerry and demand the truth.
Jack point out that she lied to him about being busy in the Jabot lab. Jack will want to know where Kerry was and why she was keeping it a secret. Will Kerry come clean or just spin more lies? Regardless, some tense scenes are on the way.
