The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 12, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) face an inner battle. He’ll struggle as he reflects on the past and fights for a better future. Billy wants to focus on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and their children, but it’s hard to let go of the child he lost. Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) death left a permanent hole in his heart.
As a result, Billy will have to wrestle with vengeful desires. He’ll work to keep them in check and hope he can keep his family intact. Billy doesn’t want to do something he’ll regret and wind up behind bars. Victoria and the kids certainly need Billy in their lives, but impulses can be hard to control.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the past will continue to haunt Billy, so that could take a toll and spark real trouble. Y&R fans can expect a dark road ahead, but Billy will hopefully break free from the pain and anger at some point. Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will face a different battle. She’s busy concentrating on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his health woes.
Nikki has vowed to hide Victor’s side effects and help him maintain the strong Newman reputation he wants. However, that could get tougher as Victor’s symptoms get worse. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has already become suspicious of Victor’s declining mental state, so he may confront Nikki soon.
Y&R viewers know Jack and Nikki have a close bond, so she may come clean about Victor’s condition as well as her growing fears. The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be some secret spillage thanks to Nikki on Friday. She’ll make a confession to someone, so maybe it’ll be Jack she unloads her sorrow and concerns on. Jack would be more than willing to listen and offer comfort.
Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’ll put a plan in motion. Adam is desperate to win back Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), but he won’t exactly go about it in the right way. It turns out Adam has a recording he can use against Chelsea. This recording gives Chelsea a motive to kill Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) since it features Chelsea ripping into him over the custody situation.
Adam will hand this recording over to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), so drama’s about to erupt. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will fume when she realizes Adam is trying to frame her for murder! She’ll view Adam’s latest move as one more reason why he can’t be trusted.
