The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 26, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will fret over the Christian Newman custody situation. He’ll hate that the judge ripped the boy from Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) home, but he’ll think Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will take good care of him. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas) will be on hand at Newman Enterprises to discuss the matter with her husband.
After Victor nods off briefly, he’ll worry he might face a little backlash due to the mask video. Victor was the reason Nick went through with the J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) impersonation plot. Soon after, Nikki will head home while Victor remains at the office.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) will chat with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) sacrifice. She’ll think Phyllis must be so proud of Summer for the liver donation. Celeste and Phyllis will ultimately connect about their kids not learning lessons from their blunders.
Next, Celeste will spot Summer and offer gratitude. Y&R spoilers say talk will turn to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) looming marriage. Celeste will wonder if Summer thinks it’s a mistake, but Summer will assure that Kyle’s love is the real deal. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for Lola.
At home, Lola will gripe to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) about their overbearing mother. She’ll also give Rey some relationship advice. Lola will feel like there are plenty of red flags with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). She’ll think Sharon will be OK if Rey decides he can’t handle it anymore.
Rey will counter that the end of a relationship is like facing a death. It takes a toll, which is why he’ll understand why Celeste is being so protective of Lola. She just wants to watch out for Lola’s heart. Once Celeste appears, she’ll scold Rey for not contacting her about Lola’s surgery. Celeste will feel like she misjudged Kyle, but his connection to Summer will still bother her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Celeste will have an announcement to make as well. She’ll think she’s overstayed her welcome in Genoa City, so she’ll get her luggage and prepare to head out. Rey and Lola will try to stop Celeste, but her mind will be made up.
In the park, Victoria will grumble at Sharon for being there for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in court. Sharon will counter that Adam deserves to be in Christian’s life. She’ll point out that Adam was a great dad to Connor, but Victoria will continue to rant. When Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) shows up, she’ll try to quiet the conflict. All three ladies will agree that they hate what Nick’s going through.
Phyllis will pop up next, which will reignite the battle. There’ll be insults all around, but Chelsea and Sharon will eventually leave. Once Victoria’s alone with Phyllis, Victoria will mention Summertime Inc. She’ll wonder what Phyllis has to say about that, but Phyllis will pretend she’s clueless. Victoria will disagree and suggest Phyllis is transferring Dark Horse’s assets to Summertime Inc. as part of her plot.
Phyllis will acknowledge that Adam has a lot on his plate at the moment, so he’s quite distracted. Victoria will point out that Phyllis is Dark Horse’s CEO and can easily authorize the sale of assets. She’ll promise the price will be right if Phyllis helps her handle Adam. Phyllis will suggest she’s on board, but she’ll have one condition. It’ll be interesting to see what sly Phyllis demands!
Later, Rey will join Sharon at the cottage, where they’ll promptly get into a fight about Adam. She’ll defend her involvement in the Christian crisis, but Rey will feel like Nick’s right about Adam getting inside her head. He’ll draw a comparison between Sharon and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) before admitting he can’t keep doing this same old dance.
Rey will feel like they both know how this is going to end, so he’ll pack up his stuff and get ready to leave. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will beg Rey to stay and kiss him passionately, but he’ll head out anyway. Back at Newman Enterprises, Chelsea will arrive for a meeting with Victor. He’ll want Connor Newman in town again, so she’ll wonder if that’s a request or an order.
Victor and Chelsea will debate the situation, but Chelsea will insist on sticking to her plan. She won’t think bringing Connor to GC is a good idea. Of course, we all know Victor isn’t going to let this go! He loves his grandkids, so he’ll undoubtedly keep pushing for Connor’s return in the coming episodes.
