The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 5, tease that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is in for a shock. When she returns to her hotel room, she’ll discover her husband lifeless on the floor! Chelsea will call 911 for Calvin Boudreau (John Burke), but she’ll be too late. Due to this sudden medical crisis, Calvin will kick the bucket.
Friday will mark the end of Calvin’s short stint, so Chelsea will be left reeling. She never expected her hubby to die during this trip to Genoa City, but that’ll be the outcome she’s facing. Chelsea will give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a call next, so he’ll hurry over to comfort her. As Calvin is loaded on a stretcher and hauled off, Nick will embrace Chelsea as she processes all this.
Moments later, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show up along with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). As you might expect, Adam will be infuriated by the sight of Chelsea in Nick’s arms. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Calvin’s death will be quite perplexing to Chelsea. There’ll be no signs of foul play, so she’ll struggle to make sense of it all.
Of course, sneaky Y&R characters tend to have some serious skills. It’s possible Calvin was killed intentionally, but the cause of death was disguised somehow. The Young and the Restless will undoubtedly reveal more as this storyline continues. For now, Chelsea won’t want to be alone where Calvin keeled over. She’ll head back to Nick’s place, so Adam will have another reason to fume.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say déjà vu’s on the way for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). That may have something to do with the carnival that’s in town. Billy will spend some time there with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so it could be a real blast from the past.
However, Billy recently took out a gun at the Abbott mansion. Y&R viewers are anxious to see what Billy’s plans are – especially since he promised Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) he’d make sure Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) came home to her. Chloe doesn’t want Billy to resort to lethal threats, but he’s a dangerous man as long as he’s got that weapon!
