The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 21, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a few tricks up his sleeve. He recently ordered Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) off his property and scolded his son for throwing away his second chance. It’s clear that Victor’s fed up with Adam and his smug attitude, so it’s time to fight back.
Victor will make a powerplay in Friday’s episode, which could mean bad news for Adam. Y&R fans know Victor can get down in the mud with his enemies. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, so maybe Adam should watch out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor could have something ruthless in store soon enough. He may hope it’ll convince Adam to stand down in the custody battle.
However, that won’t be the only conflict Adam has to contend with. He’ll also face more backlash from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the cemetery. Adam’s presence at Delia Abbott’s (Sophia Pollono) grave will leave Billy feeling more vengeful than ever. Billy promised Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he could keep his anger under control, but that may not be a promise that he can keep.
Will Billy start plotting revenge? His latest faceoff with Adam could leave him riled enough to consider it. There’s one more item on Friday’s agenda for Adam and it involves a surprise meeting. An unexpected visitor will show up and make some trouble for Adam. Perhaps it’ll be Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) making her grand reentrance to Genoa City.
The Young and the Restless spoilers have Phyllis’ return to GC listed for next week, June 24-28, so it makes sense to use her arrival as this week’s cliffhanger. Phyllis has been busy gathering ammunition in Las Vegas, so she should have some good dirt when she gets back.
She’ll likely make Adam miserable, but it seems her real goal will be targeting Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Phyllis may blackmail Adam, but she’ll offer an advantage, too. She could be a strong ally in Adam’s war with Nick, so at least there’ll be some perks here.
Meanwhile, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will face a shocker. She’ll find Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in the middle of a panic attack, so her medical knowledge will immediately kick in. Elena will soothe Devon until he can open up about what happened.
Stress will be a huge part of all this, but grief and guilt will be factors, too. Devon is falling for Elena, but he’s haunted by Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and that’s hindering his attempt to move on. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will worry that they may be moving too fast. These two will have to have a long talk and figure out where they stand.
