The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 28, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be armed and ready. In Thursday’s Y&R episode, June 27, Adam fulfills Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) demand. He lets Kevin have an emotional reunion with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), but it’ll be Kevin’s turn to pay up on Friday.
Adam will have the ammo he needs to drag Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) down in court. He’ll feel confident once he considers the blow this info could deliver. However, maybe Adam should be cautious with that optimism. Nick will also be working hard to find dirt on his brother. He tasked Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) with helping him, and it looks like something may surface soon enough.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say a fight will break out between Adam and Nick. Perhaps they’ll drop hints about what they’ve found and provoke each other. Regardless, the tension’s always out of control between these two. That’s especially true now that Christian Newman’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) future is on the line.
Nick and Adam will be on the verge of physically attacking each other when someone surprising shows up. Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will shock her exes when she suddenly walks in and announces that she’s done running. Adam will quickly tell Nick to get lost. He’ll want a chance to speak with Chelsea alone and convince her that they’re meant to be together.
Of course, Nick will get belligerent as usual. He’ll refuse to leave Chelsea alone with the brother he considers quite dangerous. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Chelsea will stand up for herself and assure Nick she’s got it covered. Once Nick’s gone, Chelsea and Adam will feel a familiar spark. Adam will plant a passionate kiss at some point, but his hopeful bubble is about to burst.
That’s because Chelsea is back for closure, not a reunion. Her Genoa City return is about convincing Adam to let go. Nevertheless, Adam isn’t the kind of guy who gives up easily. He’ll work hard to win back the woman of his dreams in the coming weeks, so we’ll see if his efforts pay off.
In the meantime, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have plenty of questions. Chloe leaves Billy reeling when she shows up at the cemetery on Thursday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Friday’s episode will bring an explanation and a tender discussion about Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono).
Let’s hope these grieving parents can find some sort of peace. They can’t let their rage toward Adam consume them for the rest of their lives. Y&R fans won’t want to miss the gripping scenes ahead.
