The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 31, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get some supplies ready for redecorating. He’ll note that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) wanted an accent wall, so he’ll hope to fulfill her request. They’ll enjoy some flirty banter as they work and ultimately get into a play fight with the paint.
Meanwhile, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that she may not be the right person to pass along his message. She’ll fill Adam in on the drama with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), which Y&R fans will recall involved Chelsea bashing Sharon in the head. Adam will admit he had nowhere else to turn and wonder if Sharon can teach him about forgiveness.
Suddenly, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will appear. After Adam takes off, Sharon will learn Rey’s main task for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) involves watching Adam. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will mention the call to Chelsea and contend that Adam’s focused on his family. He wants Chelsea and Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) back in his life.
Soon after, Sharon and Rey will have a steamy bedroom celebration in honor of his new job. At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll still be up thanks to insomnia. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will join him downstairs, where they’ll share some fruit and flirt a bit. They’ll turn serious as they discuss Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will reading and the people they’ve both lost.
Devon will eventually put on some jazz music to slow dance with Elena. He’ll let Elena know he likes her, but a vision of Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) will appear on the stairs. It’ll rattle Devon to the point that Elena knows something’s up, but Devon will just excuse himself to get some sleep.
At Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) apartment, they’ll discuss how Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) was trying to change Tessa. Although Tessa wasn’t on board with Ana’s ideas, she’ll admit she’d like to find a new style. Tessa will bring out some clothes she purchased as part of that plan and don a few outfits for Mariah. Unfortunately, none of them will really fit her style.
Tessa will feel like she can’t nail down the magic combination for what people want. That’ll lead Mariah to confess that she has similar feelings about GC Buzz. Just when Tessa’s about to give up on the whole new look thing, Mariah will offer a red blouse that’s perfect. They’ll share some sweet moments as Mariah assures Tessa she knows the real her. Tessa will insist that Mariah’s the only one who does.
Afterward, Mariah will help Tessa with her blouse as things turn passionate. They’ll kiss and make love on the sofa bed. At Society, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have the place closed up early. She’ll be wary of calling her evening with Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) a date, but she’ll ultimately relent. Abby will mention her broken engagement and fears about putting herself out there again.
Nate will ease Abby’s mind with terrible dating stories of his own. They’ll also talk about Nate getting a seat on the Hamilton-Winters board thanks to Neil. Once their night wraps up, Nate will give Abby a soft kiss and peek back in the window at her as he exits.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers Adam will fall asleep at the tack house. He’ll believe he’s dreaming of Chelsea, but it’ll be Sharon when she turns around. Adam will end up kissing Sharon in his dream. They’ll strip their clothes off for lovemaking, but a gunshot will wake Adam up. He’ll walk over to the door and gaze out in the direction of the cottage.
Next, a call will come in about the search for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). The person on the other end will insist Adam was right; Chloe isn’t dead and she’s been found. Back at Sharon’s place, she’ll answer a phone call from Chelsea and admit there’s something she needs to know.
