The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, November 29, tease that Thanksgiving will finally arrive in Genoa City. Y&R fans can expect several celebrations, including the annual one at Crimson Lights. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) always gathers up a few GC residents to help feed the homeless, so that’s exactly what she’ll do this year.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will be on hand to serve up turkey and all the fixings. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will pitch in as well, so there could be some clashing! Elena and Amanda certainly don’t get along, but Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be there to play peacemaker. If the tension explodes, perhaps Nate can remind Elena and Amanda to have an attitude of gratitude.
It appears Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) may remind Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) of that, too. They’ll be serving at Sharon’s event, but they’ll take a break on the patio and bicker a bit. Kyle may be stuck in complainer mode as usual. He spends most of his time griping about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), so Mariah might get Kyle to dial it down and be thankful for a while.
Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) would probably appreciate the support. She’s definitely in Theo’s corner, so she won’t like it if Kyle can’t stop all the cousin trashing. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo’s name will inevitably come up, but maybe Kyle can rein in his annoyance and remember what Thanksgiving’s all about.
Of course, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will squeeze in some romantic moments with Sharon. They’ll be doing this event for a good cause, but they might as well enjoy themselves while they work. Across town, another Thanksgiving celebration will get underway – but not before Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) makes a plea to his daughter. He’ll pile on the guilt and hope it convinces Summer Newman (Hunter King) to show up at the ranch.
Summer won’t make an appearance until later, so that’ll give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) time to chat with the other guests. Victor will grill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about his future. He’ll note that “Billy Boy” no longer has a job and wonder what the plan is. Billy may admit he’s not sure, but he’ll make it clear that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the kids are his priority.
As for Nick and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), they could face some strained scenes due to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) request. On Thursday, Adam pushes Chelsea to move in the penthouse for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake. Chelsea may talk to Nick about that on Friday or hold off until after the get-together. Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say a tough conversation’s looming.
At some point, Victor and Nikki will pass along great news about Victor’s health. He responded well to Nate’s treatment and seems to be perfectly fine now. Nikki will likely mention that as they go around the room and share what they’re grateful for on this holiday of appreciation. Summer will make it over in time for dessert, which could bring some friction initially. She’s still hurt over the family’s decision to leave her out of the loop on Victor’s fake death plot.
Victor’s part in it hurt Summer most of all, but she’ll finally patch things up with her grandpa on Friday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say they’ll get their bond back on track, so it sounds like Thanksgiving will end on a high note. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge.
