The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, October 25 Review - Sharon Back In Adam’s Orbit - Colin Running A Con On Devon

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Friday, October 25, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will approach Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights with a big request. He’ll have heard from Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that Sharon was helping Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) with his problems, and he’ll ask her to continue helping him. He’ll point out that Connor really likes and respects Sharon.

Sharon won’t think that it’s a good idea, since she’d necessarily have to work with Adam, too, and she won’t want to risk him manipulating her again. Adam will try to persuade her to reconsider – after all, it’s about Connor being safe and stable. Just then, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will emerge in the doorway and see Adam and Sharon talking. Adam will go on about how Sharon could make a difference in Connor’s life.

Rey will then interrupt, and Adam will leave. Sharon will explain about Connor’s recent struggles, and about how she told Adam that she wouldn’t help him. Surprisingly, Rey will ask her to reconsider, since this is about Connor, not Adam. Rey will think that Sharon could make a difference for Connor, and that she can handle anything Adam throws at her. Later, Sharon will call Adam and tell him that she’s reconsidered and that she’ll help Connor.

But it this really a good idea, or is Sharon just asking for more trouble in her relationship with Rey? Rey seems to have a soft spot for Connor, perhaps because he can relate to being abandoned by his own father, but it just doesn’t seem like a good idea for Sharon to get drawn back into Adam’s world. She seems to know it’s not going to turn out well, and we’ll soon find out if she’s right.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Friday, October 25, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will arrive to support Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and he’ll end up gathering Lily, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) together for an announcement. He’ll make a speech during which he’ll read from Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will, then he’ll say that he can either give the money to Cane or to charity.

At that point, Jill will be upset, thinking that Devon will give the money to charity, but Devon will then state that he’s going to keep Hamilton-Winters and give the bulk of the estate to Cane because that was Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Coopers) wish and he wants to honor it. Cane will seem touched and quite surprised by the outcome, and Jill will be satisfied that Katherine’s wishes are being honored.

But later, Jill will call Cane and tell him that something isn’t right. She’ll say that she took a look at the letter that Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) wrote and put in with the will. On the envelope was an emblem from a hotel in the Maldives, which was somewhere she was going to go with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) back when she was checking things off her bucket list. She’ll think that perhaps it’s Colin who is behind this whole thing.

Cane will be horrified at the possibility that his dad might be running a con to bilk Devon out of his fortune, and Jill will say this is just the kind of thing that Colin would do. Cane will wonder about their next move, and Jill will say that she’s going to find Colin because they need some answers. Of course, assuming Colin is behind all of this, then the only way he can really succeed is if Devon voluntarily gives up his money – hopefully Jill and Cane will fill Devon in on this new Colin angle.
