The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will find herself caught between pining for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and growing possessive of Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Summer can’t have Kyle since he only has eyes for Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) and they’re happily married. That could change if Lola can’t forgive the big secret, which will inevitably blow up.
Kyle will remain loyal to Lola for now – although he’ll definitely find it easy to open up to Summer. They agreed to try and get their friendship back on track, which should be tough for Summer under the circumstances. She’s trying to put Kyle behind her, but it isn’t easy when your heart wants something that’s off-limits.
Nevertheless, Kyle and Summer will soon find their groove working together again. Y&R spoilers say Kyle will take over as interim CEO at Jabot. It’ll bring more responsibilities along with more hours at the office with Summer. Look for Lola to be a bit uncomfortable with this arrangement. The honeymoon will already be over once Summer and Kyle’s connection is on full display.
However, Summer will get that Kyle’s married and she won’t be ready to forget all about Theo. There’s a certain appeal to this bad boy that Summer just can’t deny. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will get jealous as Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) sticks to Theo like glue. Theo’s just using Zoe to mess with Kyle, but Summer still won’t like it.
Summer will finally explode at Zoe during the week of September 2-6. She’ll suggest Zoe is a stage-five clinger and needs to back the heck off. Zoe will take umbrage and assume Theo will back her up, but he’ll surprise her by siding with Summer on this. That’ll leave Summer feeling victorious and even more invested in keeping Theo in her life – despite his insistence on stirring up trouble.
None of this sounds good for Summer’s heart. Kyle loves Lola and Theo seemingly loves himself – and maybe Kyle if we’re being honest! Is this obsession he has weird or what? Regardless, no guy in this scenario can give Summer the stable, beneficial relationship she needs.
