The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview teases that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) big day is almost here. These two are set to tie the knot, but there’ll be some major hurdles beforehand. We’ve got a “Kola” wedding preview for you, so let’s look at what’ll happen as Kyle and Lola prep for their ceremony.
For starters, Lola will receive a letter from her father. Adrian Rosales was hoping he could walk Lola down the aisle, but she doesn’t want her dad anywhere near this event. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was the father figure in Lola’s life, so she’ll only want him on hand for this special occasion. However, Adrian may have some apologetic and heartfelt words for his bride-to-be daughter.
Kyle Abbott Will Get A Case Of Cold Feet On His Wedding Day
Meanwhile, Kyle will battle some pre-wedding anxiety. The morning of the nuptials, a text from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will leave Kyle rattled. Theo will warn Kyle that today will be the end of life as he knows it. Kyle will worry that means more than just the end of bachelorhood. He’ll start to think maybe Theo’s plotting something and will destroy his dreams.
Obviously, Theo won’t get a wedding invite. Kyle won’t want his former friend at this gathering, but he’ll surprisingly want his ex-wife there. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have a tender chat during the week of August 12-16. Kyle will understand that it’ll be awkward, but he’ll suggest it’d mean a lot if Summer would come.
Summer will push down any lingering feelings for Kyle and decide to attend. Of course, she’ll be forbidden from bringing Theo. Unfortunately, Kyle himself will end up being the worst threat to this wedding. He’ll get cold feet just before everyone gathers to watch in the Chancellor Pavilion. It looks like Kyle will be a no-show briefly as he works through his issues and feelings of unworthiness.
Secrets Don’t Stay Buried For Long – Summer Newman Finds Out
Kyle just won’t be sure he deserves Lola and the happiness they’ve found. He’s keeping a massive secret from his fiancé, so that’ll definitely be weighing on him. In the end, Kyle will decide to show up and say his vows. Y&R spoilers state the exchange will definitely go down, so they should indeed become Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Abbott.
Nevertheless, buried secrets don’t stay buried forever on soaps! It turns out Summer will find out what happened in New York soon enough. Plus, a character named Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) will appear starting August 15, so she may bring some wedding reception drama. There’s a good chance she’s the girl that could’ve died thanks to the NYC chaos.
